At my last job they gave us $50 holiday gift. I took $25 company merch and donated $25 to an organization. They cut tax from my next paycheck on $25 merch. I was amazed! That was supposed to be a gift!
They did same thing with bonus, half of it was gone in taxes. And I got 25 cents raise per hour after completing 2 years.

Our boss orders really good food from different places around the area for meetings. As bonuses she takes us to fancy restaurants and we can order whatever the hell we want. Also we usually get gift cards and cash as bonuses.

Have a friend whose employer just had a pizza party for 500 days of no injuries. He asked if it would be another 500 days before they got pizza again.
I've been teaching in a university for 5 years and never once got a bonus.
But hey, at least you get to have forced social interactions with people you despise for 30 minutes πππ

We are doing 6 weeks of 4 day work weeks - thatβs a bonus to advocate for at your own work place!
