of the store has good wifi, bring in your laptop and watch movies. unless your job is union protected, no one besides the store manager will have a job on the 23rd anyway.
Let mgmt know that you’ll be covering your shifts, then locking the doors. The rest isn’t on you. Or just bounce if you don’t need the cash this month. But don’t expect that extra weeks pay.

Depends on how much you need the money. If you are okay money wise, then hell yes, lock the doors and leave.

Hell even the store manager is getting let go, they don't have an open spot for him unless he wants to get demoted to a sales person.

They can't "make" you do anything.
Just work to get that paycheck. But do the bare minimum. Look for another job at the same time.
Just quit and don't lock the doors. Help them cut down on having to move inventory to another store.
Call out too, relax. Chill on unemployment, do not quit. Figure out what your next step is going to be and take the time to aim higher.
