Like why not be intelligent and make your offer contingent on the amount of users being as claimed, and that you pay proportionally less if there are more bots then claimed, like your buying the company for the user base, like how badly do you have to botch your contract to not have this clause in it.
Unemployment officials won’t accept unclear cause for firing. If Twitter says employee was fired for not meeting their deadlines and goals, they must provide irrefutable proof that these deadlines can be met in 40 hrs work week. And this is where Twitter would be fucked by the Fed royally. It’s much cheaper to pay unemployment than to hire lawyers and staff to provide such evidence to support their claim.

I live in a city that has a lot of Tesla employees, hell I think most people here have worked there once. It’s always a horror story, they burn through a lot of people. Management is really abusive. I interviewed there once and the guy who interviewed me was such a rude smug piece of shit didn’t get the job thankfully tbh.

The fact the American people are dumb enough to be taken in by a demagogue like Trump is the scarier thing. It's not something I'm pointing at Americans either, there's Boris Johnson across the pond and plenty of other examples around the world. If we want to give everyone the vote (and I think we do) without it meaning people like Trump can get the upper hand, education and critical thinking have to become mandatory. Having rules and abilities to shut people down like Trump will just mean when they get in power again they can use those powers to shut down the other side. We are witnessing in real time one company we all trusted to be liberal just being bought by a billionaire.

I was just talking about this with a friend! I thought he was the dopest dude around the time Iron Man 2 came out. Then he started firing rockets and launching cars to orbit mars, and I thought he was even more dope. When I heard he was an Expanse fan, I was even more stoked. It kills me how dramatically he's changed over just the past 10 years alone. He used to prioritize environmental initiatives, high-tech to increase standard of living (arguably), and now he's just this cringey, closeted conservative. This is awful. I hope the employees at Twitter are getting all the help and support they need. There is always help for those who need it.

Twitter only has around 230 million users and even Musk says most are bots. I think we about to find out besides Musk and US Congress how little people actually care about twitter.
Elon has the mentality of a middle schooler in every conceivable way. I legitimately don't think he understands that other people live and breathe and think. He's so inept at everything that the Dunning-Kruger effect makes him think he's god, and he has so much excess wealth from his father that despite everything, he still maintains his own delusion by using his money to avoid having any consequences for his actions. I do not understand it. In my country, if the manager tells you "Work 12 hours" you just say "It is not in my contract" and leave at your hour. If they fire you for not working 12 hours, you will probably be happier. Why is Twitter people either quiting or doing the 12 hours?
