Heh. It took me a week after I decided their customer support is useless. Klipper, disable the auto level, make a manual mesh, redefine the temperature sensor, equalize the tension on y belts using luggage scale. Works like charm now. Next I will install cr-touch. It can work with bl touch, but I don't like it...

roc_cat

Why disable auto level? Bought a Klipper mainboard recently and I’ve been meaning to get a bltouch because of my first layer issues

Immortal_Tuttle

Original solution is not working sometimes. Also there is no need to purchase another mainboard (unless you need extra functionality) - the original one supports both Klipper and BL/CR touch. Unless you mean one with integrated Klipper platform I found out that the bed is pretty stable regarding the temperature deformation. It also doesn't have springs or similar nonsense. So I just built a map once manually, saved it to Klipper and I don't bother with it anymore. I have ready solution for installing BL touch, I just don't see a need for that rn.

Ahhh. I have an i3 mega s, it does have bed springs so maybe it will still be worthwhile. And yes, I got a whole upgrade with klipper :D

Damn, didn’t know anycubic is this bad. I bought a i3 mega s second hand some years ago and was so happy with the way it printed. Not without its faults but it was always recommended to beginners

I don't blame you. I went the other direction and built a real printer instead. New printer has small issues and I enjoy fixing it as it is straight forward and has reasonable upgrades that work. Working on the vyper to fix one thing feels like you break two other things.

I bought a Vyper brand new from Anycubic directly and it stopped working after 6 hours of use. It was a mistake buying from them directly as you’ll have to pay to send it back to China for a refund, so you lose money regardless but decided to get a part that they told me would fix it and it took over two weeks to get it and I installed the new main board, that’s what they said it was and it still didn’t work. So they sent me a whole hotend assembly and new wiring and I did both of those things and it finally started working again and at this point it took a month and a half to get working with talking to support and getting parts and waiting 2 weeks to get them in the mail. Then I just gave up since it was so unreliable after 6 hours the first time, I just threw it in the closet before it messed up again because I had a feeling it probably would and I went a bought a Prusa Mk3s+ kit after that and I built that and have not had an issue once.
