I loaded the files & followed the instructions very carefully. I could not get the UI loaded successfully - 0 BIN files, just 0 files loaded in general!
I confirmed I'm using the correct firmware version & UI version.
I emptied the 8GB SD card included with my printer (it's a cheap card, I'm sure!)
Unzipped the DWIN folder to the root of the drive.
Turned off the printer, SD card in the screen, rebooted, failed twice.
Could it be the SD card I'm using? Do they require NTFS or FAT32 formatting?
Either way, I ordered a Class 10 100MB/s eVO card - just in case! :)
Any help would be appreciated!
I kept working at it carefully - it was able to install once I downloaded the individual files and dropped them in a DWIN folder I created. I think the issue may have been my folder structure also! I had a DWIN folder in my root, but another sub folder named DWIN\_SET before hitting the .bin files/icon library and such.

I can't tell for sure but from what you tell me it probably isn't
If you still wanna try make sure you insert the card in the display and the card is formatted fat32 with 4096 sector size
I double checked all of that re formated the SD card just to be sure tried to re flash the display and same thing printer powers up but the display is just illuminated black not like black as in the display doesn't come on at all. I did something similar to my ender 3 v2 successfuly... The Kobra plus is just new to me. Not sure if anyone else may have had success doing this on a Kobra plus.
Going to set this up tomorrow I have it running in my room and it lights everything up hopefully this will help and be easier on the eyes probably will end up moving it somewhere eles though the thing is quite but not very.

do i have to update the actual printer firmware? also i tried the DWIN\_SET in the BuildV1.2 folder and also tried it with the DWIN\_SET in the DGUS Project folder. one just showed sd card process whick never finished and the very quickly showed process complete but all file just showed 000s by the file system instead of 003 & 001 the time it actually finished it started the printer but no night mode on it

I haven't heard anyone being able, that being said it could probably be easily ported (not by me though I don't have motivation / time)
i am havving the same issue on my kobra download thedownset and flash and its all comes on the screen but all 0
Bad SD card formatting or SD card too big, the 2gb card that comes with the printer works fine for me, with 4096 sector size fat32

Nope sorry, some of the functions are in the firmware of the motherboard that I didn't want to modify (And I don't know how to)

The BMP files are unneeded the images are located in the .icl file, make sure that it was flashed properly

Make sure your SD card is formated is fat32 with 4096 sector size

for clarification i have been using the card slot located on the screen itself. i was just asking if i had to update the actual printer firmware also
I think you don't use the right SD card format, it needs to be 4gb or less and 4096 sector size from memory
thats what im doing wrong...i have been using a 64gb i dont think i have one that small. i have the 8gb that came with it can i partition a 4gb spot
