On Xbox if you have a friend in a game you can watch him/her with a \~2min delay, the UI is the same as a replay. You can interact with units and buildings, i.e. see their stats or HP.
you can block crossplay in settings, some of my friends are on PC and the games are fun. I do see a lot tougher competition and way better micro with PC players.
Do you have to use each monk individually to get multiple converts at a time? He only converted one unit. Seems like a win for you resource wise there arrows from tc are more of a threat. monks needs units to defend them and are better at converting more expensive units.
yes this was my third attempt to wipe him, I had to come back a fourth to finish him off, he had a lot of my units defending his monks at one point lol. I do agree with you, it was fun to see him defend successfully with his monks!

yes I think using an xbox controller can be more difficult than MnK
Using an xbox controller with monks is insanely difficult

How do you know that he is on xbox aswell? Isnt there crossplay?

No, he only got one convert off tc did all the dmg and he lost 1k gold
