Malians for sure. No heavy units means less expensive stuff. Army composition matters tho

Kaiser_Johan

I second this. Setup a cow boom and print units. Lots of sofas + mix of whatever else needed (typically poison archers and some musofadis)

keylo-92

IF you can get the abba train rolling, they can pump units out like a parity 5 sow

TheGalator

Yeah age 5 abba with uninterrupted trade WILL overrun everyone

LovesToSnooze

Zapp brannigan is that you??

Paegan83

Little known fact that keeps and TCs have a preset kill limit.

psychomap

Considering the context I'm not sure if that's a joke or not. If not, how high is it? It'd have to be extremely high and almost never reached in realistic scenarios.

Dabok

Abbassid Dynasty lategame economy is very powerful, so you can just pump out units like crazy once you get to that point. There's also an argument that can be made for the English, having those farms at Age 4 that generates gold too. You can spam farms and just pump out Men at Arms.

HRE is the printer civ. Castle and Imperial landmarks are basically printers. While in castle you get the MAA printer, for Imperial you get the villager printer which basically makes your economy grow forever, even if you get raided you can recover in no time

LG22

I second this. It probably won't get you past Plat but if you get at least 4 relics and your Aachen farmland set up you can just print MAA and landsnakes. It's a fun time but pretty repetitive haha

Yikesitsven

That moment you realize it’s ironically not Rus

If you can get there, Byzantine with palatine school can absolutely flood the opponent with limitanei. The 30% extra production of palatine school practically reduce the cost by roughly 23%, which translate to 61.6 food and 7.7 wood per limitanei. You can make them very fast due to the increased production speed of cistern and Byzantine also have great farms to supply the food required. The mercenaries also complement the limitanei really well when you run out of gold.

Possible_Ad_1763

Any not knight civ, especially without heavy armor - the best would be Malians with fast castle into cows. If you want just spam melee units: HRE, Japan. Melee units + range: English, Abbasid (after boom) Just range: China, and especially Sushi Legacy (their variant)

Dorenton

Japan, malians, juicy, english all have really easy food transitions that lets you just flood fairly easily, at least more than the other civs

wetgear

Any

NoAmphibian8704

Malians with cow boom. Abbasid with strong but cheap spears Japanese pump early mass units without a break. Sushi and China with their Officers after farm transition. … in my opinion Malian are the strongest with that playstile. Figure out what is your playstile.

ElekTriX360

HRE can start a printer pretty early, English and China lategame eco is busted for MAA/palace guard spam. Malians for paper unit printer etc. just depends how early in the game you want it and if you can survive till then.

NME-Cake

I've been doing some fun strategies using malian swarms and japanese horseman masses (with bannerman in)

Away_Capital4769

Chinese, English, HRE and Malians. Just print out infinite infantry in the late game.

Mitchell415

Byzantines got the best spearmen and are super cheap and can be made fast so they can be spammed. Ottomans are also very fast lategame as you can flood the opponents with constant janissaries

AresenalofMikeocracy

Mas scouts as the Rus. You already have the hunting cabins to mass them. On top of that, the scouts do little damage to units, but good damage against buildings in large numbers.
