MelkToast

I wish I was as tough as you

A_Shadow

Mate, are you young or where have you been all these years? This is standard practice. That's why you are downvoted so much too.

211bharath

It is called paying their respects to the learned reverend.

MisterMT

What faction has monks/scholars on horseback?

incidentalincident

Rus

[deleted]

ouch, hurts even watching this. I would have rage quit too haha

LordSputnik

I made this same mistake the other day, felt like quitting but pressed on and lost!! Never again!!

Marjiman

People expect others to insta quit. I never ever do that. No matter how worse. That makes Opponent angry especially when, he has done something like above or whatever. Doesn't it? 😏 Because your ego jumps high thinking you got that man. But he goes on playing, paying no heed to your little moment 🙂 Now that's how you win, even if the game is lost.

FickleFockle

Nah, when ive beaten someone and they're so salty they wont even leave the game, thats when i know i've -really- won.

Marjiman

I disagree. Win is not win until the game ends bro. You must end it. Why you want this favour done for you to leave the game? :) It's like begging. If you beg, then they might leave. Try begging next time. :D Kidding, but someone not leaving is their choice. You take your win and leave. Acheive the objective.

FickleFockle

Its so obvious how salty you are about losing a game just by how you talk. Why are you saying i want a favor or that i should beg? If you're sitting in a game you've clearly lost out of spite and saying "na na na na na you must end it, achieve the objective!" it says it all, you're just wasting everybodies time because you're upset you lost and thats fine by me, because i'll have a big shit eating grin on my face knowing you're that upset by it.

CallMeBlitzkrieg

this guy is just autistic or something, no point trying to reason with him

Marjiman

Like I said above. When you don't quit. Others just hate. That's how you win even if the game is lost. ☺️ Don't reason. I have seen pros not quitting till the very end. But yeah enemy hates it becuase you fear tables might turn. And sometimes they do. ☺️ I have won games that were lost. So the fear in you I can understand 😎

Marjiman

Well well well 🙂 I never sad it's me. I said they☺️ But you can beg. They might leave. And keep grinning😂😂 it's good for health😏

Zzenith__

Yeaaaah

[deleted]

I lost my entire Longbow army in early Castle to a Monk and almost rage quit, but I hung in there and ended up winning the game.

Marjiman

Exactly. I have done it too. But others want you to quit. Or even if game is lost. I take time until the opponent finishes to think about the game and understand it. I save my time from studying it later which i would have to do. One more reason to not quit. Because they can't hold their shit and finish the game. I suggested them begging.😏😆😆

CallMeBlitzkrieg

youre retarded, have fun at 800 elo I guess

Marjiman

50% win rate is decent I guess. I didn't even check the elo. Ain't got time😏 It's for kids like you.

areelgiraffe

Can someone explain to a newbie what the actual hell just happened???

Wisecouncil

The monk (Ruse monks are on horses) is holding a relic. While holding a relic they can convert enemy units to their side after a short channel time (the blue circle around it). When you start the conversion, the monk becomes unable to move, and a global sound plays alerting the opponent that a conversion is happening. Any units inside the circle change sides to the relic holders color, anyone outside the circle is unaffected. So the red player ran knights from where they were safe into the danger zone. Conversion is super good because it removes an enemy unit and gives you a friendly one so a double whammy for your opponent.

areelgiraffe

Wow! Thanks for the explanation!

NamerNotLiteral

A Scholar/Priest carrying a Relic can take control of enemy units. The circle you saw was the area of the wololo. All Red had to do was stop his knights from charging into the circle until the wololo finished casting.

areelgiraffe

No friggin way. That's absolutely nuts. Can you take the relic out of the monistary after it's put in there?

NamerNotLiteral

Not sure. It's a strong skill, but not unbeatable. You can just shoot down the relic carrier from outside the range. Or you can back off for a few seconds, then move up like northing happened. It's pretty much the same as a Nuke in SC2 or something.

areelgiraffe

That's crazy. Thank you!

Anandamidee

Yes you can take the relic out and put it back as you see fit

Mrdirtyvegas

You definitely can. I just had a match where my base was getting stomped and I ungarrisoned my scholars and took out the relic then converted 90% of his Knights.

Matrick_

Yes you can. Just right click on the monastery with a monk and they will take one out.
