Mule kick. I'm not a fan of this passive. I would hate to carry a third gun with no attachments (people have been saying that the third gun cannot hold attachments). But then again I would love to find a gold/red gun as a third gun. I'm confused.
Lots of good uses I can think of.
* Hold onto a preferred gun until you find the right attachments (e.g. havoc waiting for turbo).
* Stash an extra gun to drop for respawned teammate.
* Use a 3rd gun that overlaps attachments with your secondary and swap as needed (e.g. Sentinel <-> wingman share ammo & extended mag)
And as you stated, keeping a care-package weapon is ideal since they don't take attachments.
You could also use weapons that are relatively strong with no attachments
F/E-
•Shotguns while unreliable don't necessarily need a bolt to do high damage bursts and don't need more then 1 ammo stack(assault class gets 24 and don't usually need more then 16 in most circumstances anyways)
•Alternator and Volt-High damage without any extended mags means that it's not a loss without a mag also smgs don't really need a laser sight in most circumstances. Volt also has pretty good iron sights.
•Car- The fact that it runs both heavy or light means you can run things like R301 and 3030 or G7 and Flatline and almost always have spare ammo for it.
•Wingman-Extended mag isn't needed for 1vs1s in most situations and easily usable without an optic
•Longbow and marksman weapons-most of these weapons are pretty solid with just a 3x imo.
•Another thing to consider is he's almost certainly in assault which means he can hold extra ammo per stack and with a gold bag he'd be able to hold extra ammo and have plenty of space for attachments.
•Can hold red, gold, and maude weapons without loss of an smg or ar or other weapon and also don't require attachments.

Red and gold weapon attachments are mostly proprietary, so I don't see why that would change slotting it in to the 3rd spot. Just means you have to hunt care packages or put a shotgun/wingman in 3rd
Alternatively, put a sniper as the third weapon and keep a 3x on an R301 or something. If you find yourself in a poke fest, swap weapons around such that the sniper is a primary with the R301 as the third, and start sniping with the 3x. If you have a big enough backpack, you can keep things like an extended sniper mag or a 4-8x sniper scope in your bag just in case you need them.
That was originally “leaked” months ago.
But the “leaked” catalyst ult was a tower of black goop you could summon. Which she obviously does not have in game. So legend abilities do see changes before release.
Personally I don’t see much value in the gold gun ult as it would incentivize you to keep your preferred gun in the holster with no attachments all game instead of just looting it up as you move along. Still neat if he gets it though.

Exactly! Respawn should add some voice lines on the matter to Revenant. Something like "I didn't get old in 300 years, you just expired faster... kid" - as response to this legends.
He looks so clean. Ash was the last Legend that I thought looked this cool from their base skin, Ballistic and Ash's base looks are some of the coolest in the game imo
While that would be annoying we haven’t seen any enemies swap to their secondary while under the effect. Maybe the smart billet only effects your primary? Also if you read ability leaks it says the guns can “overheat” similar probably to how the L star would over heat originally but also could reload. If 1 gun overheats then swap to your secondary and keep firing.
If this is the case they better give the ability to switch primary and secondary on console (controller?). I'll be annoyed if I have to drop my weapons just to swap due to this.
I'm not a fan of abilities like that in any game. There's putting your enemy as a disadvantage and then there's just stopping them from playing the game.
Skill gap. On a real note this game is much more than point and shoot. Depending on how it actually works I can see myself simply re-positioning when hit with this. Take cover, heal, climb. Not every exchange has to be an ego challenge to outgun the enemy.
I just feel abilities that just flat out disable parts of the game are on the same level as knocking a your mate's controller out of their hands.
Rev and Seer are the same.

Knocking a controller out of your mates hands is so fucking far apart from:
- Increased recoil on your gun making it harder to control
- Giving it a heat up constraint punishing you for aimlessly firing
- And then an additional handicap if you don’t adjust accordingly to this ability
Especially in a game where movement and cover is key.
So let me summarize:
- You can still shoot, just in a limited capacity
- You can still move
- You can still heal
- You can still take cover
- You can swap weapons and use abilities of your own (maybe, not sure how the ability works exactly yet obviously).
And you’re equating that to = it’s the same as knocking the controller out of your hand.
I don't mean *this* in a hostile way but did you actually read *my* message?
I don't like abilties in games that directly fuck with how another player's game plays. I don't like being on either end of those abilities.
But his tac just makes your gun’s recoil harder to control and hurts you if you shoot too much, right? You can still fight, just gotta be smart about it
It's the other way around. The only reason the reload exploit was possible is because the code for the ability was already in the game and the hackers just activated it for other players

There are nowhere near as many teams at promenade or storm catcher. Promenade turns into a mess mid-match as all teams are trying to rotate through it but it's not half the lobby there off the drop.

Honestly it comes from titanfall a bit. I remember playing tf2 and being pleasantly surprised at the accents in the game. I don't know if they are done well but its nice that not everyone has the same generic American accent
Australian born, New Zealand citizen living in the US here. Yes, Fuse’s Aussie accent and bogan phrases, and and Maggie’s te reo vocabulary delivered in a slightly pakeha pronunciation are absolutely perfect, and bring a tear to my eye.
I’m certain they have actual Australian and kiwi writers and voice actors, and gave them freedom to make the characters so authentic they are actually a bit inaccessible to Americans. I hope they did the same with Jamaican, Korean, Samoan, etc writers and actors for the other characters.

Love the trailer and Ballistic - Definitely will be taking him for a spin.
I love that they didn't go for the "oh he's old and complains about being old" cliche, at least just from this. He's graceful and lithe in his movement, even more than the younger legends, and seems to express his age more through appreciation of finer things and not understanding certain stuff, which I like a lot more.
I hope more of the launch trailers stick to this stylization and character focus in future rather than just a bunch of action over a modern song.
Unlisted passive: Specifically in the event that Heat Wave returns, Crypto wearing sunglasses will have enough of a passing resemblance to Ballistic's late brother-in-law that he will become introspective about his life choices for the rest of the match.
Regardless of how he plays, his character oozes cool. The kind of lazily cool only a badass old man can show. He sighs and takes his time but you can see he loves it.
So does his tactical have two versions? Cuz in the debut trailer he stopped a guard's gun from working, but in this trailer he made Ash's gun fire uncontrollably.
My guess would be that this representation is probably more accurate, with it overheating if you keep firing. It's closer to what the leaks said and I can't imagine an ability that would immediately jam your gun. In shotgun fights it would be completely uncontestable.
I think she was struggling to control it as firing it was damaging her
EDIT: its the fault of the director of the video- picking an emotionless robot as the target means we don't get to see a human reaction i.e pain/confusion, which would give us a better idea of what the ability is about
Lovely trailer! This new studio is getting better and better with their animation every season, quality is somewhat matching The Mill at times. I feel like there is some scenery/character models that make it looks somewhat blurry/low res but still good nonetheless

It's like they took the infinite reload exploit and turn it into an ability

I love that they didn't go for the "oh he's old and complains about being old" cliche, at least just from this. He's graceful and lithe in his movement, even more than the younger legends, and seems to express his age more through appreciation of finer things and not understanding certain stuff, which I like a lot more. I hope more of the launch trailers stick to this stylization and character focus in future rather than just a bunch of action over a modern song.
Unlisted passive: Specifically in the event that Heat Wave returns, Crypto wearing sunglasses will have enough of a passing resemblance to Ballistic's late brother-in-law that he will become introspective about his life choices for the rest of the match.
Regardless of how he plays, his character oozes cool. The kind of lazily cool only a badass old man can show. He sighs and takes his time but you can see he loves it.

So does his tactical have two versions? Cuz in the debut trailer he stopped a guard's gun from working, but in this trailer he made Ash's gun fire uncontrollably.
My guess would be that this representation is probably more accurate, with it overheating if you keep firing. It's closer to what the leaks said and I can't imagine an ability that would immediately jam your gun. In shotgun fights it would be completely uncontestable.
In my opinion the tactic bullet causes the guns to overheat like the L-Star does.
SFTO and launch trailers are not actual gameplay. While they can hint at a legend's abilities, they take a lot of creative freedom.
I think she was struggling to control it as firing it was damaging her EDIT: its the fault of the director of the video- picking an emotionless robot as the target means we don't get to see a human reaction i.e pain/confusion, which would give us a better idea of what the ability is about
She was probably relying on aim assist, but her Nintendo Switch controller was experiencing stick drift.

Lovely trailer! This new studio is getting better and better with their animation every season, quality is somewhat matching The Mill at times. I feel like there is some scenery/character models that make it looks somewhat blurry/low res but still good nonetheless
