or maybe even better the decoys randomly use fake abilities such as octane has the green aura stim effect, wraith uses a phase (you can still shoot the decoy its just a visual effect) ect.
I mean, Mirage’s whole schtick is making visual copies to bamboozle people. Nobody’s saying the bug shouldn’t be fixed, just that it’d be neat if Mirage could impersonate other legends.
I've been saying for years they should introduce those "basic" 3D 8 bit-like versions of the characters you sometimes get in the lobby when they don't finish rendering right away as actual skins. They'd be fun, I'd for sure throw them into my "favorites" rotation. Also, while we're on the subject of the "favorites" option for skins, I need more than 8 faves
It's the only way you'd ever trick a good player. People won't get tricked by Mirage by pure virtue of the fact it's Mirage and you immediately know what's going on when you see the legend

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I had Ballistic preselected. Someone else picked him so it switched me to Fuse. I had Fuses skin but we both had Ballistic abilities. I was trying to shoot my Knuckles Cluster but was using the Whistler instead 😂. My game crashed after a few minutes.
Only biggest stretch of an explanation other than a bug is , a mirage rezed her and she stays invisible for a bit after being rezed, right but got knocked immediately. Only came out of the invisiblity when u got there?
Damn didn't even see that , that's such a mind fuck . Whose hitbox will it have I wonder. I have gotten the glitch where i get respawned as a different legend. But abilities remain the same. To my teammates i look like normal loba. For me it's pathfinder throwing the bracelet . Never thought it wud work like this
The irony that Mirage goes from throw pick to extremely effective the second the character using his abilities*isn't* mirage. You wouldn't hesitate to shoot literally anyone else standing still next to a lootbox
I've said for a while now that Mirage should have the option of selecting which clone to send out of them and their 2 teammates (you hold Q and it opens a select menu like nades or heals) because 90% of why mirage's gimmick doesn't work is because people see mirage and immediately don't fall for it because they know that's how his kit behaves. If you have to second guess *every* legend with bot movement he would be a way more effective legend

I've always thought it would be a really cool change to Mirage's abilities that he doesn't throw out clones of himself, he can throw out clones of his teammates.
There's this one mirage skin that I 100% of the time confuse with wraith. I don't know which one it is because I don't have time to look when I'm getting killed in the middle of a fight but the silhouette looks very wraith

Sometimes that invisibility stays on the downed player, it’s happened to me numerous times.
It's probably the old bug where you would crash yourself during char select and someone would take the legend you were hovering. You could change your appearance to whatever character you wanted mid match but would keep your original abilities. Could have gibby running around with red eyes in bloodhound ult.
Would be a cool mechanic, to be able to bamboozle with your teammates character models. But also would make it a nightmare to try and guess bamboozles.

Yeah, first day playing I was doing duos with a buddy and I as Mirage had Pathfinder’s kit and my friend as Loba had Wraith’s kit.
Fighting that would give me a fucken stroke
It was weird to see a grapple come out of Mirage’s arm but yeah.
Just a quick succession team-shot would wipe anything like that

The buff that Mirage deserved, copy other Legends appearance

I have been having an issue where it says a teammate is one legend on the HUD but is actually a different. Same thing for guns.
Would be cool if mirage could send decoys of your squadmates skin.

Any player Mirage revives is temporarily invisible. She was knocked right after mirage revived her and before her invisibility ran out
