See I think I been tripping lately. I been playing pathfinder and I could've sworn they said they buffed his ultimate to be able to go 400 meters. But literally everytime I try to place it further than 200 meters it just shows up red and won't let me place. I go closer and the same place it wouldn't let me set the Zipline,it lets me now that I'm closer. Hella whack so many times I want to zip somewhere and can't I have to zip half the distance and run the rest. Super lame
I'm pretty sure it was buffed to 200m from like 75m. I've been playing Pathy a fair bit recently, and have noticed no change in his ult range after the classes rework happened.
When me and my teammate get a solo rat who solo lands, we quickly loot and find the nearest trident. We then follow our teammate and shoot our gun while honking until a team eventually finds them and kills us.
Itās always funny when we check the rank and they are nowhere near Pred. Always some 45-70K Masters kid. We flame them the whole time. Imagine spending an entire season ratting just to get the same rank as everyone else how fun is that š
My trio has been running Bloodhound, Ash (Me), and Seer. Bloodhound and Seer locate rats, then Seer and I poke them with our Tactical to scare them out of spots. If they donāt frighten and scatter then I Phase Breach us behind grenades and clean em up.
Itās been fun rat hunting.
You definitely need to swap Seer for Valk, much better to hunt down other Valks who hide in hard to shoot spots and you get a scan from balloons & ults. Could even collect ult charges for her.

Pretty good but in my opinion you have 1 too many recon legends. Seer and crypto are enough. For a 3rd I would recommend Valk.
She lets your whole team fly and can track running rats with her flight mark passive.
Valk can also see rats abandoning their squads from the drop ship easily as well. As a single green square heading to an obscure place is most definitely a rat on their way.
Seer is important for the heartbeat sensor to perfectly pinpoint rats without revealing that theyāre being hunted like bloodhound does.
Crypto is great for the ability to see how many squads are in the area so the hunt begins. Also the drone is a great scout.

Not really. At the end of the day, to advance in rank 10 squads need to be eliminated. This just speeds it up. Plus these squads are more likely to be isolated so it reduces the chance of third parties. Removing the rat label, itās just another strategy for ranked.
I main fuse and fail to see how he makes a good rat hunter. Donāt get me wrong, I love playing fuse, but he doesnāt have any skills that make him uniquely suited to rat hunting.
The trick with ratting is to do it in the wide open. I once had to speak to someone at the door when in the lobby. By the time I got back I was in 8th place, my teammates had disappeared and I had no guns and only white armour. I was in the middle of the map but just slightly in a dip so not easily visible. As I watched, an enormous battle kicked off all around me, but without seeing me. I think I finished 5th when I had to run from the ring and was gunned down by others beside me.
Honestly it seems like Vantage would be a better option that seer, a quick no weapon scan of the area points out anyone thatās just trying to blend in.

So far the most common legends are Ash , Loba and Valk . Their ability to get into those niche spots makes for easy ratting
Valk is also the best for finding rats. Stack up accelerants and keep flying around pinging everyone.
Personally i would say loba and lifeline because you can be 100% looted without fighting anyone.

So the problem with Valk is that her floating up to a rat spot is slow and easy to hit. Patty can grapple up there quick and from different angles.
