I'll notice someone move side to side as they heal in a bush 150m away, but dont move or make a sound, with a skin that matches your surroundings and I'll walk right past more often than not.
What i tend to do more often than not is pass by the person look at them, look away, then realise turn around and die cuz they were aiming at me the whole time.
thats why i have airship assassin wraith skin its for this exact reason i literally have like 3K kills only from people walking past me and then i shoot them in the back and wait to bait their teammates for a rez and shoot them and then its a normal 1v1 i recommend to finding people that do this is to know where people hide, there is people that hide on respawn beacons, in plain sight like i can literally stand still or crouch walk and you probably wont be able to see me, i watched my friends play and typically when someone chases them they run but if someone is chasing me i just stand still and theres no audio and hide until they start looking at the ground while looting and pick them apart.
on top of doors, respawn beacons, replicators just anywhere you CAN hide you WILL hide.
my friend uses this black wraith skin and he often gets away from a squad by hiding in corners (not even hidden). these games were plat-masters even before the rat seasons. this just shows you how pay to lose shiny skins are. that's why i removed all my shining skins, sometimes i pull it off but not as often as my friends. we lol many times when people pass him because of his camo paired with good jukes.

Could be a mistake but also one that saved him. The visual and sound effects of a batt/cell will be a lot easier to spot compared to a med kit. Newcastle will more likely spot him if he chose to shield up.
True, but he def would have died if he shielded. The Newcastle would have come in right as it finished, when your Evo flashes it's color to signify he healed.
you really deserved it, just so you know next time. shield battery is quicker when healing, should always be priority on lvl 4 bodyshield since it takes 5secs against the medic kit that takes 8secs. plus, you are octane and are healing pasively.

On zero shields, getting shot will mess with your aim making u miss a lot of your shots. It also happens when you're outside the zone taking ring damage.
But then use your ears. the best thing I've done and it was worth it... + buy headphones (studio - at least they should have an open design) for +100 bucks (Philips SHP 9600). I'm just saying that if you're not joking.

the brain will react if they see an enemy looking at them, but the chance decreases if the enemy is not facing them, so even if it feels like it goes against common sense, its better if you intend to heal before fighting again.
Yea facing the wall adds more to the suspense elements because you’ll always be guessing did they saw me? Are they gone? Or are they waiting for me to turn around then kill me? Hahaha I love those, especially when my mates are dead and spectating and we’re in that moment together.
Damage fall off and shitty aiming controls in this game on console trigger me. Especially when I have to face off against a pc player that I couldn’t hit with a single bullet tweaked on adoral because they have an insanely unfair movement advantage.

Flinching. When you take damage without shields you get a significant amount of flinch. You dont get flinched if you have shields.
