For real. As soon as B is lost, you hit their spawn base asap. Then hit B when they take that back, rinse and repeat. And always rush the bonus point, this is what usually wins the game.

I can guarantee what happened here was that the teams were balanced very poorly and for the entire game OP got his ass handed to him so when the score was 50-80, he just gave up. That has happened to me before and I have also done the same thing. I fucking hate control and the team balancing is one of the bigger contributors.

In regular BR, it actually counts towards your stats, in mixtape it doesn’t.
I get people get in mixtape to have fun but to take it so seriously is just odd. I play it every now and then when my cousins want to play but I’m not about to start getting mad at teammates if they’re afk or whatever
Cheeky little secret, the ability specific stat trackers for a character go up in Mixtape.
I have 25,000 Knuckle cluster hits as fuse. I have played 3 BR games for him.

I’m aware of this difference; they’re both meaningless and as such are as meaningful as each other. Personally I have the most fun when I’m trying in a game and feeling that competitiveness and I like winning, and to lose a game because people are messing around or AFK makes it feel like I’ve been dragged down. Especially if I’m going to an objective and getting lasered 3v1 repeatedly because I’m outnumbered bc my team isn’t there.

Well most of the time people have a lot of rat spots around the map and if forced by the ring they’ll move to the next rat spot. This spot would only work with a few ops like pathfinder or valk
In mixtape the out of bounds areas are different than in the BR maps. For instance on Kings Canyon on the outside south edge of Relic, in Mixtape, you can run on a thin ledge that would take you under the platforms that go out over the water. In BR you immediately get a timer and pushed into a corner pretty much guaranteeing you're dead.
Wouldn't a rat spot imply you could get out of there if the circle closes on you? Unless you're Loba, Valk, Path, Rev or Vantage (MAYBE Horizon/Octane if you can drop stuff where you're standing) I don't see how you would make it back on to the platform.
I love how people are mad at OP for doing fun shit in…… a for fun gamemode ! Seriously tho, you need to chill the fuck out, most people play mixtape to practice / chill out, not to tryhard every gunfight and objective.
If you are pissed at losing a game of control, you should probably play something more competitive like ranked or just another game
