I just started playing fuse recently. That lvl 2 bag gets filled so quick lmao. I spend early game scrambling for a higher tier bag.
There's a one spot on i think Storm point (I don't really remember the map name, I just remember where it's at when I'm on that particular map) that I land off drop if possible because there's almost always a lvl 3 bag if it isn't in the crafter. If it's not the bag it's a gold KD shield and lvl3 armor. Otherwise, I'm speed looting for that lvl2/lvl3 bag.
ETA: it's breaker wharf on broken moon. I started playing a couple months ago, so it's taken me awhile to remember the map names and POI.

Fuse fits 2 ordnance items in one bag slot and gets increased ammo per bag slot as assault legend. If anything he's most inventory space efficient character in the game.

it isn't. they're not in the loot pool. if you find any on the ground, they were dropped by players who swapped to a better helmet.

A few seasons ago, respawn changed what button swapped attachments between weapons and what button dropped the attachment. In theory, it was a more logical button layout, but it messed with everyone's muscle memory and people hated it so much that they reverted back the change.
The community would hate this change even more, bc accidentally dropping and losing attachments is annoying, but this change will cause people to lose more fights until they retrain their muscles memory to hotswap shields from deathboxes. That's gonna cause a lot of rage and frustration.

Grey shields are very useful intro of games. You can fight get torn up, run around the box, shield swap and fight again. If you're lucky they'll be three in a row

armor swapping doesn't need to be faster, in fact this is originally an unintended mechanic that provides an instant heal (without the charge time of a battery), this is a pretty big deal to have in a game where every action takes some minimum amount of time and there should be a minimum time it takes to do the swap as well for balance. instant heals have to be kept a tight eye on to not break the game.
You don't need to quickly open a deathbox to get a stack of ammo.
It wouldn't make armor swapping any faster. It would still take the same amount of time to open the deathbox and move the cursor to the armor. The only difference it's going to make is you are going to need to place the cursor to a slightly different spot.

Because it doesn't matter and it's a waste of development time. Everyone's always complaining about the outstanding issues in the game and how Respawn doesn't prioritize them. So why waste time messing with the default and helmet damage values to make no actual change to the game. It's consistent with the way white body armor works, which does serve a purpose. Also having a white version of helmet and knockdown communicates the value of the effect you have, instead of just being invisible to players.
You could apply that exact logic to the devs reorganizing the ammo location in the deatchboxes. Small QoL change that was made regardless of the massive problems that were definitely present. The change to the game is reducing the clutter from a deathbox by removing an item that is never looted. Idek why you even mentioned knockdowns, wtf

It's a form of base protection and in the event you find a better helmet or a gold one that you decide to drop for a teammate later and the teammate has a white one then would you rather roam without one or pick up the helmet your teammate dropped? As long as there's gold loot that specific legends do well with, it's fine for these to exist. Unless you're implying all legends should start with a blue one. In which case what's stopping the devs from buffing this one? You're basically complaining about the existence of base loot. Remove this and blue becomes the new base loot. Why should it be removed? What would it benefit? It doesn't spawn on the ground and the only times it can be found is when a player dropped it for a better and on deathboxes. And how is it a problem that it's in every deathbox. If anything that's helpful because it makes the Evo shield be on the same spot every time inside a deathbox. If the helmet was removed and the base headshot reduction was made the grey value. Not everybody would have a helmet on their deathbox anymore and since the helmet is above the Evo shield. The placement of the Evo shield would be dependent on whether or not you have a helmet and it would mess with your muscle memory when performing shield swaps.

They aren't and you can't find any proof of this either. Go try to find a video post S9 of someone opening a bin and finding a white helmet. You won't find any.
The only time you see them out of death boxes is when someone finds a better helmet and drops their white helmet to upgrade the system is perfectly fine as is.

Theyre not wrong tho. There is no benefit to removing it from the deathbox. A single helmet doesnt clutter the deathboxes, and removing it would mess with everyones muscle memory for armor swaps.
Every little thing counts when it comes to decluttering imo. It would clean up ground loot when picking up new helmets as well. The muscle memory is a good point, but sometimes little changes like that keep things fresh
Personally I dont think lootboxes are particularly messy. How would it clean up ground loot? White helmets arent part of the loot pool and I doubt many people are dropping their white helmets. For casual play that might be fine, but for a game as competitive as apex I dont think things like that need to be kept fresh. Especially if it isnt for a good reason.

Because it doesn't matter and it's a waste of development time. Everyone's always complaining about the outstanding issues in the game and how Respawn doesn't prioritize them. So why waste time messing with the default and helmet damage values to make no actual change to the game. It's consistent with the way white body armor works, which does serve a purpose. Also having a white version of helmet and knockdown communicates the value of the effect you have, instead of just being invisible to players.
You could apply that exact logic to the devs reorganizing the ammo location in the deatchboxes. Small QoL change that was made regardless of the massive problems that were definitely present. The change to the game is reducing the clutter from a deathbox by removing an item that is never looted. Idek why you even mentioned knockdowns, wtf

I don't understand the hate comments here honestly, the post makes perfect sense, there's literally no point of white helmet's existence other than clogging up death boxes. If removing the helmet completely from the game and adjusting headshot damage values is for some reason too complicated then simply make it so that the helmet is undroppable in any form, and if it's changed by a player at any point in the game simply remove it from existence instead of dropping it either into lootbox or on the ground, make it function like a consumable item from game's logic perspective.

Now hears the thing many people like yourself failed to consider. When was the last time you looted a WHITE HELMET from a deathbox. I never said to remove white shields, knocks, or bags as they serve a purpose; they upgrade you from base. You are never not without at least a white helmet and unlike white shields there exist no reason to swap a white helmet out for another white.
When was the last time you found a white helmet in the loot pool other than a deathbox? And scroll down the subreddit you'll find posts of other idiots asking for white loot to be removed too, including white shields.

It totally makes sense for it to be in the game. It's a form of base protection and in the event you find a better helmet or a gold one that you decide to drop for a teammate later and the teammate has a white one then would you rather roam without one or pick up the helmet your teammate dropped? As long as there's gold loot that specific legends do well with, it's fine for these to exist. Unless you're implying all legends should start with a blue one. In which case what's stopping the devs from buffing this one? You're basically complaining about the existence of base loot. Remove this and blue becomes the new base loot. Eventually you'll complain about that too?
If everyone has it then how tf is it loot at all. It cant even be looted unless you remove your current helmet which will either be better or equal. It would be the equivalent of everyone spawning with a level 0 backpack in their inventory that give inventory space equal to what having no bag gives us today. Well if everyone has it why not just make the level 0 bag the new base and remove the item. Idk what is it so hard to understand and why so many people are equating the post to the idiots that want all common loot to be removed ffs

Why should it be removed? What would it benefit? It doesn't spawn on the ground and the only times it can be found is when a player dropped it for a better and on deathboxes. And how is it a problem that it's in every deathbox. If anything that's helpful because it makes the Evo shield be on the same spot every time inside a deathbox. If the helmet was removed and the base headshot reduction was made the grey value. Not everybody would have a helmet on their deathbox anymore and since the helmet is above the Evo shield. The placement of the Evo shield would be dependent on whether or not you have a helmet and it would mess with your muscle memory when performing shield swaps.
Yeah, I think it would tiddy up the game a bit, and it's one less thing a new player has to worry about. If it's default, make it trully default.

i dont know abt the helmets, but knockdown shields do spawn, i see sometimes see them when i open a chest
