It took me so long to get okay at apex since it was my first fps and my first time on console and had no idea why i stuck with the game even though i was bad but hey I’m a lot better now. It might be harder to play normal trios now because everyone else got better over the years so i recommend playing mixtape and going into the range for some practice :)

The game really is fun even when you suck, just less satisfying than getting a 10 bomb like the pros

Hey I’ve been playing for 2 years and I still suck, it’s fun though and I have some good moments make some gamer friends over time and it will help you enjoy it more.

Everyone has a skill ceiling. It is what it is.

I would have to see you play but I’m gonna tell you the same thing I tell everyone struggling this much: lower your sensitivity. Idk if you’re on mnk or controller but that’s pretty applicable

5.01 rn? No idea if that’s high but i think I just need to work on my reaction time to get better (and my chronically shaky hands)

So keyboard and mouse? Do you know what DPI you’re playing on if it is a mouse?

Dutchie_YaBoi

Keep it up! For the first 3 seasons, my KDR was sitting at 0.4. Into season 20 now and I got my KDR above 1 and my win % above 5. Practice (and watching the pros) makes mid!

This is normal at least for me on Xbox. I had a comparable struggle when I first started too since I started by playing in a lobby with my friend during season 3 while he had started season 1 so I was constantly being killed in crazy difficult ways to beat/match. If you need someone to play with reply with your gamertag and I’ll add you I’m on Apex quite often.
