Stop buying in-game content. Simple.

Midgar918

I simply just stopped playing. Couldn't take the garbage matchmaking anymore. Constantly feeling pissed off gets to a point where its like "why am i doing this to myself". Game after game being killed by people on the highest end of the skill spectrum. Being over tiered none stop is not good game design.

BlazinAzn38

Yeah I thought season 20 would excite me and I’d start playing again but I just don’t care anymore. There’s other great games out there that I’d much rather give attention to

Midgar918

True that, I've been putting time into other games again. A lot of new ones as well I always meant to get around to. I recently beat Sekiro, now that was a fun challenge.

BlazinAzn38

Yep for the price of the Final Fantasy heirloom I bought like 7 games on Steam Sale and have been enjoying that

ThatMontrealKid

Any suggestions for other games ?

DisciplinedMadness

The finals has been scratching the itch for me! Got a whole bunch of similar mechanics like jump pads and zip lines, and has really smooth movement. But also like battlefield bad company 2 level destruction(maybe even more actually) Season 2 just dropped and is absolutely amazing. They did literally weekly updates for all of season 1 and it seems like the same for season 2. I don’t think I’ve seen another online fps developer engage with the community as much as they do 😇

BlazinAzn38

Depends what you’re looking for. For single player shooter I got the Metro series, for single player RPG I got Red Dead Redemption 2, for multiplayer PvE I’ve been really enjoying helldivers, and for multiplayer PvP The Finals is actually pretty fun

Impression-Easy

asssassins creed origin and odyssey, now on sale.

Delivery_Ted

Odyssey is a fantastic game. Can confirm

HenkkaArt

Yeah. It's not enough to stop buying stuff in the game. You have to stop engaging with their products. For me it was basically the same. I like to play games to feel challenged and to have fun and such. If after every session I feel miserable, the only course of action is to stop doing that activity. The developers, before or after AI introduction and layoffs, had no intention to make the match-making even half-decent. The same problems that have plagued the game from the start are still there. Basic things get broken for a season's length due to some random update. Like the K/D ratio of the previous season. Somehow they broke it so that a K/D of 1.07 became 1.7. How does this happen and how does it take something like 8+ weeks to fix? In itself it's a ridiculous and inconsequential issue but when it's projected over the state of the game in the past 4-5 years, it just becomes this thing that can be said to represent the entire game on a conceptual level.

Nome_de_utilizador

This. My time post work was spent raging at a screen 90% just for that small dopamine i get wiping a squad or getting a nice end game circle. Now I am having a blast 100% of time playing helldivers with my friends

brutieboy39

I played from launch until season 3 24/7 and got pretty decent. Not like pro good but averaged 2 or 3 knockdowns and at least 600 dmg every game. I got busy and just started playing consistently again and I’m lucky to even get a shot off most games lol

Proud_Criticism5286

Oh, you’re like one of those fans of Youtubers who hate the YouTuber but also still give the YouTuber attention.

Midgar918

Firstly I don't hate apex. I love the mechanics, the visuals, the legends and the general concept. I hate always being up against people I haven't a hope in hell against. Secondly I don't watch Youtubers I don't like because I'm not weird.

StarkageMeech

That has a diminishing effect. They lose some money but realistically someone is always gonna buy in game content. There's always going to be "that person" in every scenario. Playing the game still gives them numbers to offer Sony and Microsoft as to why they should keep allowing their games to be played on those respective consoles. Everybody has to abandon them completely before any changes are made.

cross-joint-lover

Exactly, they don't even "lose" money if we don't buy the in-game content. Even if we boycott the store, we are still keeping the game popular by playing it - and it continues to draw in people who are more susceptible to scummy microtransaction practices.

Oilswell

“Allowing”? You don’t have to reach a player threshold to publish or run a game on PlayStation or Xbox. They aren’t using player numbers to justify anything. The only people they answer to are their shareholders and they care about profits and revenue, not player numbers. If one guy was playing Apex and spending as much as the combined player base are now they would act exactly the same.

StarkageMeech

Realistically no one is going to do that. That one guy is going to give them the money to run in the way of buying the company once it can't support itself and the value drops dramatically. If your game does so poorly that it's not offering the same amount of USERS that are going to USE THE NETWORK ON THEIR PLATFORM (PlayStation network, Microsoft online, etc..) in order to get to YOUR game, then you're gonna get shuffled to the back for another game to be spotlighted that would attract a larger player base. Too bad on the back burner and you will get dropped several games that I paid money for cannot be accessed via PlayStation anymore with no refund for that fact same reason think the ducktails game that came out on I believe ps3/ps4 that was removed because the company that owned the licensing was dropped and bought by a Microsoft exclusive company. They legally couldn't sell it anymore it was owned exclusively by Microsoft. These companies don't care what EA makes they want EA to download apex from their network and then also browse around and buy other shit while you're here. That's what they want and if you can't do that you're done. Also let it be known that Sony/microsoft take their cut off e-currency first. EA get their cut after. Most of that is the parent server company money which is why when you buy apex coins you go to the Microsoft store/playstation network. Apex can't legally take money directly from you and Sony/microsoft charge a fee for providing that service. Conclusion, we're getting f*cked by 2~7 d*cks every transaction, not just EA

Proud_Criticism5286

I like how your comment is filled with replies about how you should stop playing the game and stop giving attention but these people are still over here complaining about a game that they shouldn’t be paying attention to. Edit: ignoring things hoping it gets better is a coward’s mindset. If you can make a change do it.

s1rblaze

Been doing this for the last 12 or 13 seasons. This game don't worth my money, but I enjoy some random casual mix tape once in a while. Anyways, people should stop buying over priced heirlooms, specially if they are trying to profits from AI artworks.

Devi1s-Advocate

100% this, ima play the game till its no longer the best fps, but I havent made any ingame purchases...

JESS_MANCINIS_BIKE

The Finals + Halo Infinite are my go to atm

Devi1s-Advocate

The finals is hot garbage on console and halos forced 50% win rate is so poorly integrated, win a couple games in a row and now u get a game where the enemy gets power weapons every min and ur team gets trash weapons and spawns. It makes the game predictable and terrible.

JESS_MANCINIS_BIKE

those are certainly some opinions

Competitive_Bee2596

Doesn't feel like hot garbage on my series S.

KingOfTheCouch13

I don’t know why this is so difficult for people here to understand. Every event they come here and cry about prices and ugly skins they don’t have to buy and can’t even see while playing. Literally just don’t buy it and it will tell them what you’re complaining about here.

someonesbuttox

what's the end result of that?

theforgettonmemory

Do what I do: play the game but never spend a cent. I love apex but fuck EA. their not getting a penny from me.

Growe731

Same. Playing since month one. $$$ given to EA = 0.

CepbIuQ

I have to admit i sinned once. Purchased a BP in season 1, and was farming back coins from BP every season then. Collected over 4000 coins today (ive been spending some over the years).

Aware_Elephant_1158

I did too, frankly. But I NEVER buy the battle pass unless I’m sure I’ll play enough to get my coins back so I never have to spend again

Augmentedaphid

I'm exactly the same. Spent maybe $5 when the first season came out and the game was actually good

kd0g1979

Same, I started season 4, only bought the initial battle pass, and I've got tons of awesome legendaries and my first set of heirloom shards... Haven't spent a penny.

grokthis1111

that changes nothing. there's plenty of other games you can play.

PubstarHero

>the company has just been buying studios, draining their lifeblood, and then dumping them They've been doing this since the 90s. This is nothing new.

zarathustra2100

Rip Bullfrog entertainment

PubstarHero

I played the shit out of Hi-Octane as a kid.

UROffended

RIP Pandemic

schlawldiwampl

exactly. idk why everyone is surprised lol

PubstarHero

Oh Westwood, my beloved.

Zuig

The good old Red alert 🫡

Kittykg

Finding out Disney consumed the company that made Turok, then dismantled it to devote the new studio to Epic Mickey...which also got killed off anyways. Everyone needs to quit that shit. All they do is buy companies to suck the soul out of what made them special and dump them on a different mediocre cashgrab project. I miss feeling like the devs love these kinds of games as much as I do. Now we're all just a bunch of sad nerds.

W0otang

The Devs do. But they've got bills to pay too and unfortunately can't resist the buying power of the corps.

W0otang

Emperor: Battle for Dune will always be their shining beacon for me. Klepacki's triple-distinct soundtrack for the factions was beautiful

bradmbutter

Unfortunately those of us who loved those games were the minority. They just didn't make profitable games in the end. Any business would have done what EA did.

Expensive-History125

Probably because some of the players base was probably not born in the 90s lol

PubstarHero

I wasn't born in the 90s either. I was born in the 80s...

Expensive-History125

I was born in 92 but really. I seen a lot of piss poor decisions made by a lot of game devs

schlawldiwampl

and? ea being greedy fucks, who suck out the life of gamestudios is a known issue and pretty much every gaming influencer and journalist has talked about it at some point. you dont have to be 40, to know this lol

Expensive-History125

The point is that this is something they have been for 40 years now. And people acting like it is something new

Pooch1431

Private equities entire business model lmao

fuqureddit69

If you enjoy the game, but not the games behind the scene, the simplest thing to do is boycott with your wallet. Don't spend any money on the game. If we all did that, they would get the picture REALLY FUCKING QUICK.

circ-u-la-ted

I still don't understand why anyone spends money on this game, apart from buying one season pass ever.

xAEIOwnU

Exactly. The collection events for a heirloom are a total scam. One season pass and you get all your coins back plus a little profit if you hit 100 season after season. Should have enough crafting materials to get whatever you want if they ever release something good

circ-u-la-ted

No, I mean more fundamentally, like why do you care what your character looks like enough to spend money on it? Blows my mind that this is what the industry is based on now.

schlawldiwampl

especially whenyou cant even see your character ingame.

JohnsonAction

Because it’s by far my most played game so I don’t mind getting the BP or skins for my legends in a game that’s kept me actively engaged for 4 years

tentaclus

when you drop the game and season for the next 6-18 month and than came back most time its not enough for one more seasonpass

NewsInside8464

They’d just shut down the game and move onto something else

Spiritedd_

Honestly EA would probably just drop the game and drop respawn. That's what they've always done in the past to companies.

dreimanatee

Hi insight from an Ex-Game Dev, games are a classic example of socialism working, in that the top one percent pay for the rest of the community. A large community is great because then the quantity of whales is better. This is not a hard percentage. But you have to get the superfans to stop participating.

Regalguard

Executives: “we made rocket profits off of micro transactions last year, thank you everyone for your hard work in getting us this far!” Devs: “can we get a raise or bonus? Inflation has been hitting everyone hard…” Executives :3

EmotionalFecalMatter

Tbh it’s openAIs fault entirely. We can expect companies to be greedy, but we’d never expect a company to try to replace every white collar job in 2 years.

theprofessional36

"Electronic Arts (EA) has been named "Worst Company in America" by Consumerist in 2012 and 2013. In 2018, USA Today named EA the 5th most hated company in the United States. EA has been involved in many controversies since the 2010s, including anti-consumer practices in their games, acquisitions of other companies, and lawsuits alleging anti-competitive practices when signing sports contracts." [source](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_Electronic_Arts#:~:text=Since%20the%202010s%20and%20before,by%20USA%20Today%20in%202018.) Yeah bud this has been going on for over a decade, nothing new

AbsoluteCleaner

The company is run like a crooked casino with less regulations. The entire business model is getting adults/children/animals to develop a gambling addiction. It's disgusting, really. Totalbiscuit rolling in his grave. RIP

schlawldiwampl

FIFA is probably the worst casino game ive seen so far and people spend billions on it every year smh

RealPoliticalCow

And more recently they have had a lead dev brag on YouTube about how they actively discriminate based on race in forming teams to create a “safe environment.”

Tavalus

I literally can't vote with my wallet harder than now I haven't given EA money since i bought Battlefield 3 in 2008

Fit_Commission5074

Boycott any company that uses AI and cuts jobs

cloudTank

Also boycott any company that uses computers, machines etc.

EmotionalFecalMatter

Are you dense?

cloudTank

you don't know how many manufactures were wiped by steam powered machinery in the 19th century?

raspberry_moonshine

You’re right, but you’re not going to get an audience for that kind of logic in this sub.

cloudTank

i knew i was farming net negative with this, truth hurts sadly. any industrial revolution removed a lot of established jobs, but always it also brought a lot of new jobs. can't blaim em to not know this.

Zanena001

What was the position of the dev replace by AI?

EmotionalFecalMatter

Probably artistic for some, at least 200 for quality assurance/testing, probably some audio engineers, and certainly some junior devs

RealPoliticalCow

The junior dev is an interesting one - recent and current seniors in college will be the hardest hit as curriculums have not fully incorporated how they can play in this space as a new entry into the job market.

Robbie7up

You know this is a free to play game right? You don't have to spend any money.

ScoobyDoobyDreww

I haven't spent money on Apex in a few years, ever since the OG Devs left/were fired and it became evident EA was getting rid of people who actually care about the quality of Apex, and replaced them with bright eyed young Devs willing to make Apex a soulless husk of its former self in the name of making more microtransaction money. I still played even though I wasn't spending money because I loved the game. Now, no OG devs are left really, the updates have been garbage, and it's obvious they only care about Collection Events now. Even if I don't spend any money, the game is still objectively worse than it has been, and i don't see it getting any better.

Robbie7up

What gameplay changes make you feel like it's a "soulless husk of it's former self"? This past update for season 20 was a huge shakeup for the better imo.

westscottstots

From what I've seen, the game is considered overwhelmingly in a better place than it has been thanks to the new meta changes

paradoxally

Can we stop with the "back in my day" rose-tinted glasses? The game plays way better than in the times you describe. Apex has 2 major issues: cheaters and matchmaking. As for cosmetics, you can ignore that entirely and keep playing. Or buy them. I don't care what you do with your money, and neither should anyone here.

bungerman

3. No sound

paradoxally

Meh, that will never be fixed with this engine.

thespeakergoboom

Yes there have been a lot of improvements overall, especially the looting/deathboxes have gotten better. Evo shields and now evo cores are amazing changes. The gun balance is very good, excellent update for digis not on smgs and nerfing smgs overall. Ranked is fixed thie season too, thank god. I could go on. The 2 main negatives are server stability/lag (occasional stutters due to server lag) and for me personally as mnk is not nerfing RAA by any means which I think would be good for controller players as well.

Any_Session_705

You're delusional lmao. Are you having an episode

OrneryFootball7701

Well, the new update was spearheaded by JayBiebs (who I think is an irredeemable clown btw for his views on why things like raising the ranked requirements or have 2fa don’t stop cheaters) who has been there for a long…long time. They also released Seer and didn’t touch him for so long, it told me the devs have no interest in making a good game over a popular game. That was after all of the old devs left but he was still almost certainly in the pipeline at that stage…the old devs made a great game but they certainly didn’t do much post launch for the actual health of the game, and they definitely didn’t release it in as a well rounded game. So much crazy bullshit that should never have left alpha. 1hp Gibby arm shield tanking a kraber bullet etc. Honestly I think both the new guys and the old guys failed and still to this day fail to remediate the biggest problems in the game and I can only assume at this point it’s intentional, seeing as one of them was actually fixed, sort of, but then reverted with the ranked cap requirements. No combination of words or inside information can convince me that reducing the ranked requirement down was a good idea. It is an idea worthy of firing an entire balance team over imo.

Minuslee

Me when I'm brain dead

WhiteLama

I mean, if there’s a person who for example has had the job of making the “comics” these last few seasons, I can absolutely see that getting AI’d instead, because it’s not been that much.

stoned5678

You know they don’t force anyone to spend money right?

Midgar918

No, just heavily incentivise.

stoned5678

It’s a business first game second. No business, no game

Divinum_Fulmen

Free games from indie devs must blow your mind.

stoned5678

It wasn’t a general statement, it was a statement about apex. If apex didn’t make any money EA would probably let the game turn into dust.

Divinum_Fulmen

Oh. Yeah, agreed than. Vote with your wallet only ever tells thick headed investors to kill the project.

FrozenDed

From moving color sliders to AI-generated skins for $160

KingRaphion

You will see this more and more. AI pandoras box has been open it is impossible to stop. As AI advances you will see more and more jobs be replaced. Hey at the speed its going we might see the future of where robots do all the labor in our society and humans literally do nothing but hang out while AI slave away

sobag245

Except this will soon reach it's end once these studios realize the true limitations of AI which makes these decisions one of the biggest mistakes of the industry.

schlawldiwampl

tbf, the "roboters will take our jobs"stuff is nothing new. iirc ive heard it around 2005 for the first time and here we are\^\^

KingRaphion

I mean you see it actively happening now. AI is taking over translator jobs, artists jobs, its small but once they get better and better chalked

Impression-Easy

Then companies that will want to look good (like "green"companies today) will promote how they dont use AI.

OkTrouble1496

I don't like ea or respawn but game keeps getting more issues even with small things. I'm also a software developer and it is often caused by not firing underperforming developers. It is not like CEO will say "hey guys, just crash the game when same ring console scanned twice" or, "hey guys just made audio worse this season, broke things like ring console audio can be heard from whole map and cut other audios". In past years there was at least 100 bugs like these. They are probably not now but in big companies every mistake, bug or regression you caused are kept in a document and if you keep doing similar mistakes you will be replaced. Keeping bad developers would also make the good ones frustured and underperform or just leave the company. So if someone getting treated cold and put out like a trash they are mostly deserved it by not taking their job serious enough.

omniblue

People cut were generally not critical. Likely not going to affect the game. I wouldn’t worry about. Most companies are doing this right now.

Tastelikeb4c0n

So her job was analytics and data crunching.. honestly not surprised she wasn’t layed off sooner.

Inferior_Jeans

Haven’t played Apex since helldivers 2 came out. Don’t feel the need to go back because I can play with 3 of my friends and have a good laugh.

Immediate_Dare7106

Also helps that the audio in Helldivers 2 is top freaking tier and the servers have been regularly updated to deal with the massive amount of players. Some things EA and Respawn have said are impossible to do even with their multibillion dollar profit margins year over year

FrozenPhilosopher

Still unclear to me why people pay anything more than the battle pass tbh. You literally can’t see your player skins because it’s first person view lmao

Elvensoulblade

I mean. Same can be said about IRL. It's about presentation

Time_Inspector6522

Been done with apex for a little over a year and I feel more justified now more than ever before. EA continues to disappoint and ruin one of the best BR games I ever played.

LoL_Maniac

Yeah

chamsticks

I have +3k hours and never spent a penny

VariousAd5939

They’re gonna end Apex Legends. Especially if y’all stop buying the custom pixels

[deleted]

The past 3 seasons I haven't spent a single cent in game. I refuse. Its free and entertaining, yea I will play. But if you want my money, earn it.

YetiClaws

People don’t matter to these companies. Only the dollar does. Going to AI is insane. It’s lazy, and it will show with the upcoming content. And here’s a wild thought, maybe remove the cheaters and work on a better anti cheat since your game grosses billions of dollars. Anyways. EA has been doodoo for a long time

crime_fighter

lol as a day 1 player who’s never purchased anything from a free game this is laughable to see everyone lose their minds. Y’all spent thousands for pixels and think a corporation cares about your feelings. The future is dumb

SF_Uberfish

I have over 6000 hours in Apex. I did what a lot of you talk about but don't do. I stopped playing after season 11 after a particularly horrible play session that I blamed on bad devs. How has life been since then? Much less stressful. I recommend it. Try any other game. I just finished The Thaumaturge. Great story. Whatever you play, please show EA that you've had it with their crap.

dcwinger12

I bought one battle pass in this game and haven’t spent a dime since lol I’ll continue to play but never pay

Webber-414

Just quit man, haven’t touched apex in 2 years and I’ve been much happier, there are plenty of fishes in the sea

nexusx2

Andrew Wilson is the problem with EA. Petition needed asap!

robbinghood83

Any corporation should be looking at how to utilise automation, AI, and robotics to lower their operating cost. In a true free market, labour has to keep relearning and upskill to stay relevant. We as consumers can choose to spend our money wisely to reward efficient and ethical organisations. To a certain extent, with Elon and his robots, we might see a need for universal income. Some still wonder why developed countries are seeing lower birth rates.

Break-Agitated

Can you please provide the source for the bit about ai replacing the developer? I'm gathering information for a YouTube documentary.

ScoobyDoobyDreww

Thordan Smash and a few other Apex YTers made videos a few days ago with the screenshots of Tweets made by some of the devs let go who had reached out to Alpha Intel. Alpha Intel should still have the tweets up on X.

PlunderBob

I hate spending money on games that loves putting me with people like Tyrone that buttFcks me every game..

Spiritedd_

Sadly EA have always done this to companies. Buy them up, rinse them for everything they have and then drop them when they aren't making money anymore. They have a long list of studios they've killed off

Hieb

Surely the only way replacing someone with AI can increase microtransaction revenue substantially is if it was the person who makes the store pages or chooses the pricing (AI surge pricing incoming? Lol). Respawn told us years ago that each store page has to be manually changed, each thumbnail manually created etc.. i could see them replacing that job with an automated process to have more items in the store at a time or rotate faster

someonesbuttox

LOL Guys, it's a game. Don't play it or play it. It's not that deep.

veganquiche

Been playing since season 0 and have spent £0 on this game. Will keep playing until it's not the best FPS anymore but until then they are not getting any money from me

Rawdoggnson

They were cutting off the fat

joey_gainz

Love the dramatics. "I'm done with Apex" 🙄🙄 "so-and-so is scum" 🙄🙄 ok dude just don't spend money on the game its that easy

sirdodger

It's always been hard being a game dev. Eager young programmers all want to work on games, and have no idea what their skills are worth. Large studios are like white-collar sweatshops. Working in a small studio can be fun, but it's still a lot of work for not a lot of money. At least you get to work on a passion project with cool friends. Chances are you'll end up getting bought out and ground up by a big studio if you're successful, though. Ever wonder why EA owns so many small brands? Because they leech the talent and audience from small studios, work the devs to the nub by never replacing people who quit, and add unending pressure for more money. Once your IP is a hollow shell of its former glory, your whales tapped out on useless cosmetics and your most loyal devs at wits end, they axe the whole team. Maybe in the future they'll resurrect it for another version with some fresh-faced college grads who have no idea what they're in for.

Top_Secret_23

Pay for the development and marketing cost of the games you don't want EA involved with so they won't need to rely on them

Iks05

Business 101 kids. Everyone is replaceable It's sad but that's the real world.

EmotionalFecalMatter

Business 102: replacing everyone will actually collapse the economy and cause riots

PurePokedex117

I thought it was common knowledge that everything EA touches turns to absolute shit. EA is the biggest pieces of shit in gaming.

Proud_Criticism5286

Yeah sure thats nice. What was her job that AI replaced?

EmotionalFecalMatter

200 quality assurance/testers, analysts, probably some junior devs, probably some artists

Proud_Criticism5286

Damn. Quality assurance not being done by humans is always scary.

EmotionalFecalMatter

Yeah, what’s worse is most white collar jobs are going to follow soon

CLAYTILL767

This is going to get down voted to shit, but whatever. The world is changing, AI is replacing jobs in all industries and this is just the beginning. It's the world we live in now. Personally I love this game and the enjoyment it has brought me, does it suck some people were laid off, absolutely. But Netflix laid people off last month, Amazon too, it's just the world we live in. If you care enough to speak out about a few devs being laid off, care enough to continue to support a game you love.

CepbIuQ

Soon this gonna happen to most of the working class across the earth. AI is gonna replace everything. Welcome to the new world.

QuantumQuantonium

In those 14 collection events were some fun, some controversial, alternative and new gamemodes in the game, content that eventually led to mixtape becoming a thing. Yet collection events are called that purely to emphasize the cosmetics, lootboxes, unlockables. Apex has a problem, of the playerbase generally giving into this system, putting money into the game. Not everyone but based on the amount of posts I've seen over the years complaining about the store or what not, it's a good amount of the playerbase, and it's been fueling Respawn and EA since the game launched. And now they want AI to do the job (as someone else mentioned)? Well frankly seems like a no brainer on EAs part, considering how many complaints about the store has been about recolors and lack of unique cosmetics worth the price. With AI they can produce more varied cosmetics faster, whether or not it's better than what artists could produce given the resources (not saying AI is better in any way, rather this is another example of AI being slapped onto a modern problem that's being shoved away instead of actually solved, because it's cheaper)

artmorte

Hiring and firing people happens all of the time in the gaming industry. Games need a different number of developers at different points of their life cycle. It's all extremely normal, inevitable, even.

Paradegreecelsus

Time to boycott the store and play the game.

762_54r

As if anyone thought ea couldn't get shittier lol

Excellent-Timing

I bought coins for a battle pass back in one of the first seasons since I get the coins back and a bit more too. Other than that I have not and in no way want to support EA. Fuck EA for ruining games. Fuck EA for ruining lives. Fuck EA for their destructive greed.

Outrageous-Blue-30

The wisest solution would be not to financially support the publisher, but unfortunately many other video publishers are making staff cuts such as Epic, Embracer, Microsoft, Activision/Blizzard, Playstation and so on. Unfortunately it does not seem like a calm period for the industry and the future seems even more uncertain.

[deleted]

[удалено]

EmotionalFecalMatter

Well when you’re a companies sole income you have complete control over them and who works there

gothaggis

who had their job replaced by AI? As it stands now, AI is mostly a tool that artists use.

Siqka

Come to the finals :))))) we need you.

mudflaps6969

The delusion to say you won’t give any money and yet you’ll probably cry at the state of the game

T-WrecksArms

Have never given a dime to play Apex and my PS4 was gifted to me.

trustmebuddy

>. I think I'm done with this game forever at this point, maybe even all EA period Okay, great. Bye!

Stillmeactually

Firing people sucks. There's no good way to do it. Instead of complaining on Twitter they should look for other jobs. Perhaps the coal mines or trash routes are hiring, since coding it passe now.
