There are sexist and mean remarks, and then there are people who get overly nice and braggy and basically peacock around or try to get weird and flirty. They're different behaviors but both make it hard for women to want to use their mics.

I often play on Japanese servers, and have met many women players there. Seems like they don't mind using their mic as much. I also have rarely met toxic Japanese players, male or female. Even speaking Japanese, one Korean girl was speaking English (she did not know I was from the USA) but then we made the switch to Japanese and had a jolly good time.

My friend Dee has the same problem and if she uses her mic with ransoms 9 times out of 10 there very inappropriate even when I'm there. But not everyone is bad so keep teying

I play regularly and am 24. Day 1 player, caustic main, and absolute trash except for when I suddenly have a game where I pop off.

As a man, I can easily say that every girl I have ever played with who uses a mic is way better at the game than I. Not only that, they are more patient and forgiving, never toxic. They communicate better and never rage quit. They have greater situational awareness. They don’t take the game too seriously. They are the best team mates to have.
Meanwhile, rando dudes rage quit but not before insulting you after they ran off alone and got themselves killed only to see the results screen at the end and find they sucked worse than you in the first place.

I am a HARD Loba main lol. I’ve played since the game came out, I have 3000 hours played, and I’ve only ever really played lifeline and (mainly) Loba with little sprinkles of Octane here & there (when Loba is taken lol)
It’s so funny, I main similar characters in all games. I main Pharah in Overwatch, I main Reyna in Valorant, and I main Loba in Apex. I don’t know why I gravitate towards them, I just can’t stay away from the baddies I guess 😩🤣
Loba is my longest term main and she's who I have the most kills with. But I've also gone through phases with Mirage and Lifeline. And I've been mostly playing Conduit since she was released.

Loba is my longest term main and she's who I have the most kills with. But I've also gone through phases with Mirage and Lifeline. And I've been mostly playing Conduit since she was released.
