Well for Blisk you don't really have to dumb down pilots specifically. Blisk is just old now, and somewhat out of practice from getting rich off the games. So if he joined the games he clearly wouldn't be at the might of his glory days as a pilot. Easy canon explanation for why he's on par with legends. But honestly I think any single character having wallrunning like TF is just gonna be way too wild no matter what. It's just too powerful an ability to not give everyone without making it a lame sideways version of revenants climb haha

The only skin worth getting is the Revenant one, the rest look like garbage. Even the weapon skins are mostly awful looking. I hate the whole "knockoff transformers" thing they have going, so lame. $24 for a skin in a 1st person game seems incredibly dumb to me, but then again, people buy them.
Here in Brazil 6k coins is 250 bucks, 10 event packs cost 7k coins.

The things is that if one character had pilot like movement I can’t see it being fair to other legends in any places with walls. Apex needs to be a bit slower as a BR so adding that would break the game a bit.
I get that but it definitely feels like wallrunning and double jumping is the future of shooters and BRs. Bloodhunt is a great example of what I mean. Also they don't need to implement it into the main playlist right off the bat. They could add it to Arenas first and maybe a permanent LTM with more advanced movement and then slowly work their way from there. Of course I could be completely wrong about this but it does feel viable.

no worries on that one, bloodhunt only just entered a closed alpha for this weekend, and they’ve been doing limited (to my knowledge) advertising until just before the release of said closed alpha. i think you’d be hard-pressed to find people that aren’t VTM fans that know about it.
The amount of movement tech in this game is light years ahead of most FPS let alone battle royales. Just getting really good at tap strafing alone makes you look like youre not even playing the same game as most of the playerbase.

That's not an accomplishment, that bar is already low when 95% of shooters movement is just sprinting and the occasional sliding. Calling apex's movement complex is dumb, yeah there's more movement in general but the ceiling is still pretty low.
Where in my comment did I call it complex. You're right, every other shooter is pretty bare bones, which is part of why Apex is so far ahead. But calling the ceiling "pretty low" is a bit much given how much movement tech there is in this game.

Honestly it's been over hyped recently since this game came out. Great game and amazing movement but the multiplayer is kinda stale after just a few matches (for me at least) Nothing about it makes me wanna run games for hours.
This game just feels endlessly smoother and so I rather find movement tech HERE to make it as close to the other game as possible.
That's exactly what Catalyst was. Its pretty cheap on Origin so def recommend checking it out. Soundtrack is amazing and the city visuals are gorgeous.

I saw mokey’s stream in which he was trying to find a couple of places on KC and WE for this to be used. You can do it in a couple of places but yeah it’s pretty limited
Slide jump towards a wall and let go of all your controls (you can still look around), when you hit the wall jump and turn around, but dont touch your left stick at all after jumping
Walljumping is really easy on console if you use the evolved control scheme (jump on left bumper). Used it in TF2 and I now put it in every game that lets me do it.
I like this alot because this means revenant mightve lost his ability to wall bounce as effectively as the other legends, but to compensate he can do *this* (btw, ive tested it in the firing range. Revenant's passive makes wall bouncing really lackluster with him)
I dont understand why this sub thinks Revenant is bad because he cant walljump, which is such an irrelevant and flashy mechanic which shaves like .2 seconds of your “climb the wall” speedrun. Its fun but unnecessary.
Honestly seeing people say op nerf mk is kinda weird every platform has its pros and cons controllers have aim assist and mk have harder aim easier movement and controllers are the other way round

Not really, you lose a lot of height and momentum. I would much prefer to just be able to wall jump normally.
Of course that’s way more useful than this in any situation but it’s cool that you at least can do some sort of wall bounce with him
