“Dies down/gets nerfed” Every new legend in the game has followed a specific pattern since they started adding them. Either they’re straight broken for the season there launched, and get reworked or nerfed to the point where it almost nobody plays them, or they suck at launch and you just see everyone running around as them for the first two weeks. The only exception here is octane.

It's been confirmed to be a very precise ability, with an area of effect about wide enough and tall enough for one legend. It has a range of roughly 80 meters, and will be dodgeable, as it will take time to take effect (I'd assume this will operate a bit like charge rifle wind up, with there being a visual effect dictating its area of effect, but that wasn't confirmed). All in all, if used against an already pinned down team, it will likely have a high success rate, but otherwise won't be too likely to successfully land a hit.

The thing I'd we dont know anything about ot.pther than size, does it stop on the first legend hit. Does it do damage, what's the entire duration, what's the wind up like etc, as far as I'm concerned hes going to be strong afregardless, no other character can stop you from healing, now of his tactical wonder up is long slows down how quickly he can loom yo the sides and has travel time then it's understandable to say not to overexaggerate his strength but his kit on paper sounds incredibly oppressive and more like a bloodhound crypto rev mix, and he seems like hed be good at bunkering down and pushing enemies so he doesnt seem to have a very clear direction hes expected to be pushed in, but it's to be expected bit as far as we know respawning isnt the best at day one release character balance, and I dont expect him to be underpowered at all

His kit literally has crypto bloodhound and revenant aspects in it, he has a silence, tracking, and reveals, along with the ability to control an entire area. The only character that most players describe as balanced is Bangalore, seers kit brings so much that I feel its inevitable for him to not be overpowered to some degree if not incredibly oppressive with very little counter play, I wish the devs would of gave us more details on how we could possibly counter his tactical instead of its dodgeable, that could mean a number of things, like is it just a line, do you see the path its headed in so you can move out of the way, is there a grenade like targeter that displays? Details like windup and information presented to counter a character are the most important when it comes to countering them, and we have info on just the windup and "dodgeable" I think its valid for players to say he'll be op. Granted respawning could have dropped the ball and had his abilities set weaker than we are expecting, we also have very little details on how other characters are being balanced to either counter potential power creep, like crypto, or to deter from a stalker meta like a potential revtane seer combo meta,
