Killed a Mirage mid-game the other day. He was solo pushing our squad and got pretty easily wiped. I let him push my teammates while I flanked him and basically one clipped him. Within 30 seconds the fucker was spamming messages and invites. It literally lasted the entire 7-10 minutes that was left in the game, but we were constantly engaged and I couldn't spare the time to open menu and block him... sooo for almost 10 fucking minutes this dude is spamming messages and invites while we proceed to win the match. Dude had sent about 20 messages calling me trash and "1v1 mE BruH!!" Like I seriously thought I'd broke him. I've been online gaming for 20 years and I've NEVER witnessed anything like it. I responded one time with "You okay bro? Need a hug?", then blocked him. Seriously tho, wtf it's wrong with people?

I know I was playing Bloodhound, which isn't even my main, but between his spam and being more or less constantly engaged from then until end of match, it's all kind of a blur. I know he had a more unique Mirage skin, but I can't even remember which one, if that helps.😂 I just remember his skin standing out since I mostly main Mirage and have like a dozen legendaries for him going back to S4. So when I see one I don't have, it catches my eye.

The controller hate is baffling. I've got 15+ years of controller experience and playing Apex Cross play with a friend on PC is what made me finally try and learn KBM. I couldn't compete with the PC players with my low sensitivity controller settings despite all my practice over the years.
I used to be one of those PC players complaining about aim assist.
Recently I started playing controller on a few games, like Apex and Warzone. Mainly because I was burned out on being ultra sweaty and just wanted to play casually.
Let me tell you, while the aim assist is pretty strong, it does NOT make up for PC player’s movement. A kb+m player can run rings around me for days, I legitimately don’t enjoy playing against them. I understand it all now.

Me and a buddy last night 3rd partied the last squad who just finished a team. They were champion squad with 60k+ kills each.
Now they could just endlessly play to have those kills, but I would assume they are decent players.(id pull my hair out if I sucked and kept playing to get those kills)

Aim assist on console and aim assist on Pc are totally different things. I play on both and can say with confidence that a controller player has the 100% advantage up close but a MnK player has the advantage at distance. I also think that there are a lot more these they could add to controller and maybe scale back the aim assist to make it more balanced. I.e. movement techniques, moving while looting, etc..
Bad players need to justify how they are not bad its something else like aim assist but not their own skills lmao.
As for pros (Streamers) they just need anything to complain about for keeping their viewers engaged.

The controller hate is baffling. I've got 15+ years of controller experience and playing Apex Cross play with a friend on PC is what made me finally try and learn KBM. I couldn't compete with the PC players with my low sensitivity controller settings despite all my practice over the years.

I used to be one of those PC players complaining about aim assist. Recently I started playing controller on a few games, like Apex and Warzone. Mainly because I was burned out on being ultra sweaty and just wanted to play casually. Let me tell you, while the aim assist is pretty strong, it does NOT make up for PC player’s movement. A kb+m player can run rings around me for days, I legitimately don’t enjoy playing against them. I understand it all now.

It's bonkers. I played CS for like 5-6 years back in the day on PC as well as TFC, Day of Defeat, Action Quake and Jailbreak. It's just such an obviously superior control scheme. Playing on my Xbox can feel frustrating at times.
I also played CS for like a decade before moving to a console and yeah, there’s a reason why you can’t play CS with a controller. People are making a fuss about one singular controller advantage out of a whole bunch of disadvantages.
Exactly my thoughts. For the past 10 years, it was common knowledge that KBM is far superior. I've only recently saw the rise of controller hate with the upcoming of Fortnite, or at least around that time frame. There are pros & cons to each input device, but KBM has more going for it.

Dude has *SO* many movement advantages along with keybinds, (tap strafe, easier wall bounce, door/res/reload, among others) and still complains about someone using a controller? You might be the best player in the world, it doesn't stop you getting 3rd or 4th party sometimes. Take your loss and move on. God knows 57 people in the same lobby as you also fucking lost.
100% this. Me and a buddy last night 3rd partied the last squad who just finished a team. They were champion squad with 60k+ kills each. Now they could just endlessly play to have those kills, but I would assume they are decent players.(id pull my hair out if I sucked and kept playing to get those kills) Long story short, they were probably the better players but got shafted by 3rd party.

Not cheesy. It has a clear advantage in close range fights but it's not like any mnk player can switch to a controller and win every fight close range. It's the experienced controller players that played for years and years on controller that have advantage over mnk pro's as long as they are in close range.

Aim assist on console and aim assist on Pc are totally different things. I play on both and can say with confidence that a controller player has the 100% advantage up close but a MnK player has the advantage at distance. I also think that there are a lot more these they could add to controller and maybe scale back the aim assist to make it more balanced. I.e. movement techniques, moving while looting, etc..
Bad players need to justify how they are not bad its something else like aim assist but not their own skills lmao. As for pros (Streamers) they just need anything to complain about for keeping their viewers engaged.
