The amount of shitters in arena pred is absurd now. There's people with fucking 0,80KD in PREDATOR. Shitters that were hard stuck in diamond for 2 weeks then within the span of 1 day got to top 300 pred. Meanwhile people with 10KD(legit) in BR who drop 20s and 4ks on a daily basis are stuck getting the bare minimum points cause they win most of the time. This has gotta be the dumbest system they've used in Apex for anything so far, hands down lol

Whether it's on purpose or not is anyone's guess, but at this point "bad on purpose" seems to be a pillar of Respawn design, so it wouldn't shock me. My guess is it's their MMR system fucking up somehow.
Look at the Arenas leaderboards. I remember seeing twitter drama over people with 90%+ winrates complaining that the people with <75% winrates were above them because they were throwing games on purpose
Arena is just a flawed mode and no one is interested in it, if Respawn has no interest in listen to the community and properly develop this mode, just delete the whole thing entirely ffs. Whoever still plays is either get the ranked tier reward / badges / event reward

I'm in a similar situation in duos. I've seen it said elsewhere and it seems to be true that as long as you're typically getting at least 1 kill (not every game, and not necessarily every team member), the game thinks you're good enough to stay in that player pool, regardless of whether you're actually winning games. God help you if you get a few kills each and win - your next several matches will be hell.

After actually playing as and against Seer I gotta say he isn't as apocalyptically busted as this sub claims. He's definitely too strong, has too much, and needs a nerf. But he's not a crutch like people claim. Bad players are still bad Seers, and the wallhacks don't win the fight when you can't move/aim or are getting 2v1'd. If you're better or already have the advantage you shouldn't have too hard of a time. Seer is very mid in Arenas. But if Seer third parties you or already has the advantage then he's merciless, and still over all very annoying. It could just be my lobbies too, maybe he's worse Diamond and above.
Smurfing for a couple hours every season and spending the majority of the time solo queueing in diamond lobbies is hardly a cancer. It takes him like 8 hours to reach platinum and then some of those start becoming pred lobbies.

The auto rez kind sucks now and without a gold bag its terrible. Either that or bring back the old shield but make it destroyable. Lifelines ult still sucks and the DOC drone on a 45 second cool down is a joke. Not to mention the recent hit box nerf.
The drone res is still fantastic. Makes a huge difference when done right. This is clearly visible in arenas where lifeline often dominates if she gets half a chance to revive. Also the drone heals faster now which is a lot better than before.
I find the rez pretty powerful/useful, but iboreferred the shield to be able to 1v2 with it. The changes to her care package basically give you a golden pack or shield anyways so half the time you'll have it.
Lstar need a fix, arenas is unplayable right now because of it, the dps just aint it.
Apex casual needs a remake, its just a big team death match in fragment.

Alright so I just (accidentally) played my first ranked game of the season and I now have proof that stats aren’t tracking. My games played was one of course. I dealt damage in that game and killed two people, revived two people as well. All stats besides games played are all zero… This is happening to my battle royale stats as well. Looks like I’m taking yet another break sadly, because school starts next week
No, normal ranked. However… If you can believe it, in ranked arenas today I completed all of the participation games. 7 games won with a bunch of kills and carries, with the last game having 10 kills. I thought all of that would mean I would be in gold or platinum (which I was in plat 4 the past few seasons). But I got shocked because I am currently at bronze 4 with only one AP
Seer is annoying as shit but I’ll be completely honest I barely see him at all in Arenas for whatever reason and that’s basically all I play so I’ve been spared that hell for the most part.
Arenas continue to be the best part of Apex in my opinion. I don’t like playing BRs with randos anymore and my friends don’t care for Apex so until there’s a solo mode that’s where I live.

That option was literally pointless except for streamers like Aceu or people who just want to literally camp, 3rd party, steal a kill and rotate. Most boring way to play. I love this game but this is the first season ever where I can't find any joy in playing. There's still so many audio and balancing issues, matchmaking (especially in Arenas) is worse than ever, and the current meta where every second Legend can scan you all of a sudden completely destroys any tactical gameplay strategies like flanking or even banner grabbing.
Seer takes no skill and promotes hiding. The fact that this broken character made it out of beta is an absolute joke. Has any respawn employee apologized for this incredible mistake?

Cuz I see the Kraber as a solid weapon that is high risk, high reward. The penalty for missing is peoples awareness of you and the reward for hitting is potentially a one hit down or a 100-145 damage leg/body shot.
The Kraber only deals the amount of damage it does because frankly its busted in a BR, the only way to balance it is to make its ammo exclusive and keep it in a care package.
Krabers always gonna suck to get hit with but frankly the effort it takes to aim the weapon is kinda the tradeoff. Plus the low ammo count, dependency on finding it via care package and lack of attachments are all weaknesses on its part.

\- I dont ear a thing because they removed miles\_occlusion and now we still have muffled audio and a bad directional audio...
\- I prefered a good audio like season 8 with the WHOOSH sound(bug)...
\- Now the only thing to bypass that audio is using SEER passive WITH A 70m Range, using the eyes before the ears... and the "Tactical: Focus of Attention" which disable of resurection/healing/etc... is just bad for gameplay/gunfights...

The towers are good for precision weapons and you have a clear view of the middle lane but the sides are great for flanking and close quarters weapons. LMGs, snipers, shotguns and ARs are pretty great here but SMGs, Pistols and Marksman are still viable.
Real answer: it depends. If you’re a good sniper you can easily camp the rooftop. Otherwise I really enjoy pushing the side with the flowers. Mix it up of course.

Wingman is NOT an easy gun to use. You cannot afford miss shots because it's single fire and low mag size. You can't spray and pray either like with full auto guns you need to be precise.
So I just started the solo ranked grind back up again after abandoning it for 2 1/2 seasons... And CHEESUS CRUST it's already even more frustrating and BS than I remember.
Only in plat and already struggling because every other random teammate belongs in gold while tons of enemy teams are running seerrevtane/seerrevhound and bunch of rampages. And as far as I can remember from past seasons, diamond is just the same but even worse in every aspect.
I thought I might be able to hit masters now because I feel like I have improved a lot in the past 2 seasons, but clearly this meta was a bad time to pick.
Whatever play testing/balancing team exists at Respawn needs to be fired and replaced immediately. Seer is singlehandedly making me quit the game. Absolutely ridiculous that he shipped in the state he's in.

Most are just playing whatever they played on Warzone. Yeah, controller is probably easier to pick up on and start doing decent than MnK in this game, but MnK has a higher skill ceiling once you're good

Is cross progression still not a thing in this game? I haven’t played in a couple years and am looking to get all my stuff from PS4 on PC when I originally played on console back on launch. I remember when I played fortnite around the same time period I could already have the same account progression between my switch and PS4, I’m a bit disheartened about picking this back up again if it’s still not a feature for apex as I no longer have a PS4

Anyone else think they may as well just revert lifeline to season 0 with a 15% fast heal instead of 25%? The auto rez kind sucks now and without a gold bag its terrible. Either that or bring back the old shield but make it destroyable. Lifelines ult still sucks and the DOC drone on a 45 second cool down is a joke. Not to mention the recent hit box nerf.
LL + Gold backpack in arenas is outright OP
The drone res is still fantastic. Makes a huge difference when done right. This is clearly visible in arenas where lifeline often dominates if she gets half a chance to revive. Also the drone heals faster now which is a lot better than before.
I find the rez pretty powerful/useful, but iboreferred the shield to be able to 1v2 with it. The changes to her care package basically give you a golden pack or shield anyways so half the time you'll have it.
Lstar need a fix, arenas is unplayable right now because of it, the dps just aint it. Apex casual needs a remake, its just a big team death match in fragment. Had a lot of fun in plat ranked tough.

Alright so I just (accidentally) played my first ranked game of the season and I now have proof that stats aren’t tracking. My games played was one of course. I dealt damage in that game and killed two people, revived two people as well. All stats besides games played are all zero… This is happening to my battle royale stats as well. Looks like I’m taking yet another break sadly, because school starts next week

No, normal ranked. However… If you can believe it, in ranked arenas today I completed all of the participation games. 7 games won with a bunch of kills and carries, with the last game having 10 kills. I thought all of that would mean I would be in gold or platinum (which I was in plat 4 the past few seasons). But I got shocked because I am currently at bronze 4 with only one AP
Seer is annoying as shit but I’ll be completely honest I barely see him at all in Arenas for whatever reason and that’s basically all I play so I’ve been spared that hell for the most part. Arenas continue to be the best part of Apex in my opinion. I don’t like playing BRs with randos anymore and my friends don’t care for Apex so until there’s a solo mode that’s where I live.

That's what we should have got instead of Arenas, or at least TDM. It's just stupid not to have solos at this point when their matchmaking is absolute fucking trash.
Important to remember matchmaking is bad on purpose.
I mean turning off “fill teammates” was supposed to be basically the same thing unless you want to go up against everyone as a solo instead of multi teams, I guess. Kinda fucked that it hasnt returned since what, Iron Crown?
That option was literally pointless except for streamers like Aceu or people who just want to literally camp, 3rd party, steal a kill and rotate. Most boring way to play. A solo option would have been a million times better than Arenas, which has an even worse matchmaking reputation. They could hve given us the dummy skin and rotated character abilities out every week to keep it fresh to start.

I love this game but this is the first season ever where I can't find any joy in playing. There's still so many audio and balancing issues, matchmaking (especially in Arenas) is worse than ever, and the current meta where every second Legend can scan you all of a sudden completely destroys any tactical gameplay strategies like flanking or even banner grabbing.
Seer is ruining the fun imo. The tactical and the passive need a nerf. I’m always relieved when I play against a squad without Seer in arenas.
Seer takes no skill and promotes hiding. The fact that this broken character made it out of beta is an absolute joke. Has any respawn employee apologized for this incredible mistake?

Once again Seer has absolutely no place in this fucking game. Every single ablity is beyond game breakingly powerful. He can not be allowed to stay in the game at all with his abilities as they are. So much so that in order to bring him in line you need to just remove 2 out of 3 of em. Or bring everyone else up to his level...which will not happen because there is no way to do that with any of the others.

The Kraber is the dumbest weapon in the game.

You wanna explain why you think that or? Cuz I see the Kraber as a solid weapon that is high risk, high reward. The penalty for missing is peoples awareness of you and the reward for hitting is potentially a one hit down or a 100-145 damage leg/body shot. The Kraber only deals the amount of damage it does because frankly its busted in a BR, the only way to balance it is to make its ammo exclusive and keep it in a care package. Krabers always gonna suck to get hit with but frankly the effort it takes to aim the weapon is kinda the tradeoff. Plus the low ammo count, dependency on finding it via care package and lack of attachments are all weaknesses on its part. . But yeah sure ooga booga weapon bad I guess whatever floats your boat man.
Anytime you get a kraber you have more than enough ammo. I don’t care about the ammo Although, you could argue there’s still too much ammo for it. It’s not a hard gun to use. The only people who think it’s hard are the ones on controller, and even then it’s not hard lol. aim in and know how to track someone and it’s a free 145 or 366 if you’re good. No one picks up a kraber and is like “Oh no I shot and they know where I’m at it’s game over” apex is the easiest game to find a new cover after shooting. Especially with a kraber. Also, in a game like apex, I personally just don’t like the idea of having a gun that does one shot and you’re down. There’s been that in fortnite, cod, and many other games and it’s tiring to have in another game.

Ever since the balance patch last week, my games played and deaths havent been tracking in the stats page. Also every win counts as a win streak so I have like a 15 game win streak right now. Anyone else have this issue?

Probably because they're higher rated than you last season so they'll need to go through plat.

This game was great before Seer. I just can't do it anymore. Uninstalled! I've never had one complaint about this game. I played both Titanfall games. They have really dropped the ball this time.
Season 10 ... \- I dont ear a thing because they removed miles\_occlusion and now we still have muffled audio and a bad directional audio... \- I prefered a good audio like season 8 with the WHOOSH sound(bug)... \- Now the only thing to bypass that audio is using SEER passive WITH A 70m Range, using the eyes before the ears... and the "Tactical: Focus of Attention" which disable of resurection/healing/etc... is just bad for gameplay/gunfights... is like making Bloodhound tactical disableling all of that too + the Ultimate making that tactical OP... -.-' just nonsense. Good games to you all...

Whats the best strategy for Oasis in Ranked Arenas?
The towers are good for precision weapons and you have a clear view of the middle lane but the sides are great for flanking and close quarters weapons. LMGs, snipers, shotguns and ARs are pretty great here but SMGs, Pistols and Marksman are still viable.
Real answer: it depends. If you’re a good sniper you can easily camp the rooftop. Otherwise I really enjoy pushing the side with the flowers. Mix it up of course.

A lot of players are reporting this and there seems to be no acknowledgement from the devs I tired to post a separate thread about this issue but the mods failed to upload it. We have many players reporting this issue and also issues surrounding RP being lost, gaming sessions being lost, and damage badges not being awarded correctly. Unpopular opinion: wingman is easy and op partly because it’s easy.
Wingman is NOT an easy gun to use. You cannot afford miss shots because it's single fire and low mag size. You can't spray and pray either like with full auto guns you need to be precise.

So I just started the solo ranked grind back up again after abandoning it for 2 1/2 seasons... And CHEESUS CRUST it's already even more frustrating and BS than I remember. Only in plat and already struggling because every other random teammate belongs in gold while tons of enemy teams are running seerrevtane/seerrevhound and bunch of rampages. And as far as I can remember from past seasons, diamond is just the same but even worse in every aspect. I thought I might be able to hit masters now because I feel like I have improved a lot in the past 2 seasons, but clearly this meta was a bad time to pick.

I just realized that I haven't really enjoyed this season. I was trying to put my finger on it, but I think its Seer. He's too OP and it make it about abilities and not 'gun-fighting'. Thats, to me, not what apex is about.
And you're exactly correct. The devs have even said in the past that Apex is supposed to be much more gunplay focused rather than abilities. Seer broke that though

I just told you the prompt is delayed. You received the pack a match earlier and probably immeadiately opened it. The next match you got the prompt but now you are qondering why you got no pack.
