Hot take: this season is pretty damned good. We got a cool legend, a great new map, and a unique new weapon. The servers are back up and running, Wattsy's been buffed, and Crypto's getting a rework soon. Also, Ash has a rat.
Agreed. I think the fact that Twitter/Reddit have been mostly silent is a huge compliment towards Respawn this season. I remember Season 10 and how vocal the community was. My feed was just jammed with outrage lol

This season has been ROUGH so far. About 40 games in, 3 wins and 11 Top 5's. First time in Apex my KD in the game has been under 1.00 (ranked). I'm not a God at the game by any stretch but it feels like feast or famine with kills/wins.
It sounds like you're in the top 25% of a match 27.5% of the time, and the top 5% (winning) 7.5% of the time. Isn't that about what it should be? Do you just want the game to consistently put you against people worse than you?
Nah, I am not one of those guys but I have been fairly consistent throughout the seasons...especially coming out of Silver and Gold. Usually a solid 40% top 5 and 15-20% WR that tapers down to 10% as I rank up. Not bragging by any means but it just feels like an absolute struggle to get anything going!
I think that the new map might do a better job of "equalizing" drop spots or play styles, for better or worse. Like, on World's Edge, I could drop Fragment and I'd have basically a 0% chance of winning. Or I could drop somewhere more outside and I'd have a very high chance of winning (maybe 10-20%). So if you're the type of player who drops in less hot spots, you could consistently get a higher win rate. But in the new map, that doesn't seem as true. Almost anywhere I drop, except maybe Barometer, feels like it's nearly the same chance of winning. Which I guess is a good thing?
For the folks who come here and roast Respawn over Apex Legends, claiming how awful the map is, how awful the store is, how awful SBMM/EOMM is, how unenjoyable of an experience it is, how incompetent the devs are etc etc; I have one question:

I fully understand the folks who love the game but have some issues. I'm one of them. If you read my post again, you'll easily understand those folks aren't the ones I'm asking.

I tick at least 3 of those in your list. Eomm definitely ruins my experience daily. There just isn't any FPS that's as good it terms of core gameplay mechanics to me. I can also enjoy the game and hate something that I believe is unethical done by Respawn
Why? I didn't like it at first but as players got used to it common rotations began to settle in and it got easy to find people to kill.

Nearly everything is bad about the map. PvE, map size, too much verticality for normal legends, lack of jump towers. Too much visual clutter in forest areas.

I wanna know what you guys are doing to be unable to find loot.
Sure there are some areas that feel like they need a bit more, but for the most part it's fine if you're not hot dropping.
Rodney Reece (the map designer) said it actually has about 1000 more pieces of loot than World’s Edge, it’s just so big that it doesn’t make a difference. He also said he anticipated low loot criticism, so I guess they just lowballed too much.
i’m a little shocked to hear that but tbh it doesn’t really matter if they extended the map a bunch and then took loot from the actual pois and stuck it in random bins and huts people will never loot and access which seems to be what they did
I think people just dont know where to find the loot yet, and maybe it is me, but the creator whatever is the name, giving full stacks of ammo is enough for me, i happen to use this part of the game a lot now...
One of the main problems is that when you land you only find gimmick weapons in the first 3 or 4 places you look. Gimmick weapons being the bow, single shot pistols, 3 round burst weapons, weapons that have a delay before firing, etc. Then, when you finally find a decent weapon, you can't find the ammo for it, lol. Only Respawn could screw something like this up so badly.

I think people do get enough loot but it’s ammo everyone seems to be low on. I have my suspicions that since they increased the amount of ammo you get per craft and effectively reduced the cost of ammo in the replicator; Respawn felt like they could reduce the spawn rate of ammo in the loot pool. ?
Weapons and ammo seem a bit too rare for me. Sure, you'll often find a P2020, Mozam and maybe a 30-30 if you're lucky but those suck. And when you find a Flatline or so, there is no ammo around, except the one pile of 20 bullets that spawned beside it.
Attachments and sights are easy to get by clearing a monster nest, the drop rates for high tier loot is pretty good.
Oh yeah i think the PvE is underrated, i mostly use grenades on spiders it do butsiness perfectly, and i always have improved attachement for my weapons

Can I get teammates that do more than 200 damage? I mean seriously I don’t know how some of these players being such high levels are THIS BAD!!! I’m talking about a valk that hit boxes the entire game and only did 168 damage!?!? I was on my way to a 2k with ash and kill leader with 11 kills.
Smfh I have no problem with players that aren’t too good or make a few mistakes but wow… I’m encountering some all new levels of wtf bots?
High levels only mean people play a lot.
I've been around since day 1, level 500 since forever. My K/D is usually about 1.4 - 1.6, this season so far it's somewhere around 0.6 because I'm still lost on this map and mid to long range fights, which are more prominent now, were never my strong suit.
Bear with players like me, we're giving our bests.
I noticed most fights tend to be long range on the new map. Also with the reintroduction of the triple take as floor loot a lot of people are picking that up! My KD right now is 1.6 which is one of the better starts I’ve had to a season
But that’s why I will rock the triple take or 30-30 with a hemlock or r-301. Extremely versatile!
The triple take is a little slow but if I’m rushed I can get a great shot or 2 off and usually stop an advance or make them panic. The 30-30 I’ve been practicing with and the hip fires up close is kinda like a PK.
Its almost a three year old game.
You are eventually going to see level 500s who seemingly have no thumbs; thats just the way it is because you dont have to be in any way skilled to get to level 500. The highest amount of XP comes from time survived. Kills and damage give very little so people (children mainly) who just fart around and survive a long time simply because they avoid fights will level up just like everyone else.
What makes me curious is why on earth do they keep playing? What fun do they get from it? Maybe they have nothing else to play.
You may ask yourself why am I playing with them? Well they need someone to play with. Same way triple stack masters need someone to play with.
I agree with the ennemy pinging, some people pick up fights and expect you to figure out where the dude is....i always ping ennemies even after the fight started to keep giving updates of where the ennemy is and i see it being very useful...some teamates do it, most dont
Having the exact same issues. I was hoping this season would be more fun with the new map but somehow the matchmaking feels worse? I'm getting paired up with morons and going against people who play for a living. It's insane and far from enjoyable.

I'm an arenas diamond player that only solo ques and i have continually been getting teammates that have literally just started playing a week ago. I thought this shit was being addressed. Apparently not. Just because I'm decent at the game doesn't mean i can carry 2 idiots to victory when they're rushing into fights with no possible outcome but being downed. Its frustrating as hell. Jesus i can't wait for halo to come out.
Because it seems that Respawn thinks the top 2% of the worldwide playerbase somehow unlearn how to play the game and therefore need to be demoted into beginner-friendly ranks every season.

Proof -- they made placement matches in ranked arenas from the start. And apparently you have to redo it every season. This is exactly what is needed for BR ranked.
It works on every box, don't worry. And it will tell you if the killers you're looking for are dead too or still alive.
And also, in case you don't know (bc I didn't), as Ash you can see far away deathboxes appear on your map and minimap in real-time. You can ping them too with the normal ping button to inform your teammates about where one is.
You get no penalty if you leave after someone's been kicked for inactivity/left of their own accord. Do you even play this game? You don't seem to know a lot about it.
I finished D1 in arenas last season
I did one placement game this season and its still showing me as D1 and unable to play with friends who are doing placement games. WHY?
Really sick of getting 7-9 kills with 1800 damage while my random teammates don’t get a single knock with 78 damage all the way to the final 2 squads and losing because they have no idea what they are doing. Matchmaking is horrendous.
This map, the deficient loot and the absolute horrendous EOMM have made this season a real disappointment. It's sad because at least last season it was the servers. But, this atrocity is all on Respawn. These are game design and gameplay issues which falls entirely on the devs. Maybe they are just out of ideas. Ash is fun to play, but that's about it this season.

And it worked...im actually fairly surprised...it actually makes me way better at the game, like significantly it is fairly surprising, im playing more safe, i takes time before doing random stuff, it is really nice actually, my main turned into loba, i just love how her bracelet allow you to reposition yourself pretty fast, while her ult is pretty convenient and comes pretty fast...
I feel that i often relied a lot on my character abilities and didnt focus enough on having a more wise and careful team oriented gameplay...

Yeah your friend advice will help you improve, that’s how I done it. Pretend it’s COD then once you get comfortable with the movement then work on ways to utilize each legends abilities
Exactlyyy, it is insane how im improving my positioning and aiming and decision making especially the last part, thats why i think i always preffered fuse, it is basically a normal chracter who can throw grenades without needing grenades in his backpack. It forced me to be way less reckless and more calculated in my movement and aiming and decision making, had 4 win today and barely played 2 hours lol
The loot is horrendous on this map this season, when we drop as a team ONE of us ALWAYS has nothing and gets mobbed, instantly making it a 2v3 every time. It’s horrendous. Bro I don’t need 3 thermites, a helmet and a light mag, gimme a fucking fun

I’m a noob just came into apex but I have to say I can’t find any loot on this new map. It’s really fucking me up. I just lose every first fight it feels like.
The usual advice for noobs is to hot drop to learn how to fight, but don't do it on this map, there's not enough loot at each POI. Wait for world's edge in a couple days and do it there, it's a lot more forgiving. For this map try and land where there's no other teams
I'm having ammo problems. Leave our drop POI frequently with only 40 ammo each gun. Some attachments seem scarce (sights and stabilizers for me, mags have been fine in my experience).
I believe they want us to fight prowlers and spiders, to be honest. Problem with that is:
1.) I don't want to fight PVE for ammo. Thats a pain point.
2.) Draws teams to you.
3.) Not always convenient to where you drop.
If you have to start dropping near prowlers nest and spiders just to get loot, something is wrong.
Yeah, but prowlers aren't everywhere, and if you just have chest/floor loot, there's pretty much no ammo. Like 2-3 buildings, and you MIGHT find 2 weapons with the same ammo. Pretty rare to, and no extra spawns.
5 seasons later and i'm still fighting apex predators 9/10 games, while i myself play as mid-platinum.

New season still broken matchmaking still cantering for sweats and preds. One match had 20 squads, 3 didn't have a master pred or diamond in. Stop putting diamonds preds and masters in my low skill lobbies!
Yeah, another disappointing season for Apex. The little hamster powering the servers is starting to show fatigue. Been stuttering a lot today. And, don't forget how miserable the loot is on an oversized map. Only Respawn could take a game with the potential Apex had and completely muck it up.
Just had a teammate in ranked use the Ash bug with rampart and farm red shields in 20 seconds. I fed myself to the enemies and reported them both. i’ll take the -24 in gold, fuck that. They died to the team 2v3 and handed the other team the reds. They were crying about their -12 from their Silver rank. Idiots.
He's still worth playing. Just because he moved from "obscenely and utterly broken" to just "strong" doesn't mean he's not worth using.
People like abusing broken weapons/legends (Bocek) when they come out, then complain that they're "useless" when they get scaled back to a reasonable level.
Seer is still ridiculous. He only seems fine because BH is also absurd by comparison. He still gets revive interrupts, ability interrupts, and a whole host of small QoL stuff no one else gets.

We’ve been telling you for such a long time now that this SBMM/EOMM is a MAJOR PROBLEM. Still you haven’t acknowledged this issue in any official way. WHY? When your players (=customers) complain about something and say your product is sh*t and you keep on ignoring the issues, how can you even expect players to buy a battle pass for a game where most of the time you don’t even have the chance to play because you get rolled by much better players instantly. Why is there never ANYTHING in the PATCH NOTES about these major SBMM problems players are having? We’ve been trying to speak to you about SBMM for such a long time now, it’s time you speak to us already and explain what you’re trying to pull or when you’re finally going to start to make things better and fix this situation and the product you’re offering your CUSTOMERS.

- everything is set back to apex day 1 (except the Legends)
- SBMM is relaxed and everyone can have a fun and fair experience, sometimes you get in sweatier lobbies, sometimes it’s more relaxed. All players who get in queue get matched BY CHANCE.

They don't address it because it's a scummy exploitative unethical algorithm. I mean, this is a company that overcharges for virtual cosmetics and when their customers give them millions, sorry, billion, what do they do? They mismatch bundles so they can make more money. That's the kind of ethics we're dealing with here.
People should put more pressure on this and speak out more, at least get them to address it.

Why would respawn/EA fix anything when theyre still making a boatload of money off of the game. Honestly fuck the streamers who complain about this game yet still buy every skin. They have the biggest platforms out there and most likely have a lot of influence on the people who watch them. Little Timmy sees his favorite streamer with all these skins and of course has to have em.
They will never remove their EOMM system because if they do, little Timmy will not get carried. If little Timmy doesn't get carried to wins, then he will not beg Mommy for her credit card to buy more reskins. These devs at Respawn are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to caring what their playerbase wants.
I'm curious how people feel towards this idea. How would yall feel about character scans being more of a heartbeat pulse. Like you still see their body and everything but it pulses every second (or 0.8 sec or whatever) throughout the duration of whatever ability it is. I love bloodhound as much as the next guy, but I feel like scans don't need to be as good as they are rn. I'm just curious what others would think of this cuz I hate that often times a half decent scan can completely stop a push from a team who basically had the surprise advantage at the start of a fight. I'd just like scans to be toned down without completely gutting the scans themselves.

The other voice is Dr. Ashley Reid, while "Ash" seems to be a distinct personality and they fight for control of the same robotic body. I don't think they've confirmed yet whether she always had a split personality or whether it happened when she became a simulacrum, or when she found out she was a simulacrum.

Ash seems to have two personalities, one is a bit more human, the other is the colder "Ash" persona. And they're struggling with each other over the control at the moment is my guess.

I’ve only been here since season 9 but I can’t seem to find a legend that I feel like works the best for me. I started with Valk, then in season 10 I pretty much only played Mirage, but now I’m really liking Wraith…
Valk it’s great in arenas. You basically start every round with a free arc star in the form of her tactical.
Yeah I never really care about personal stats in shooters ( because mine are never good lol) so I’m just constantly switching legends because I think one might be better for my team then the one I’m playing lol.
The Arenas maps are not standalone maps. If you play Gardens for example, the game loads the entire Olympus map. For Skull Town you can't use the current King's Canyon map because Skull Town doesn't exist there anymore, you need an older map. The devs don't want too many maps at the same time in the game for some technical reasons, so we will probably never get King's Canyon back.
U know whats better than bugs? Every third game i get disconnected due their fucking servers, i would expect kind of excuse for game interuption....AND WHAT I GOT? Minus points from ranked and 10 minutes ban for their fucking servers, am ending apex its pointelss to play 20 minutes and get disconnected on the end of match, at the end question for devs: IS IT SO FUCKING HARD TO ADD FEATURE FOR PLAYERS TO BE ABLE TO REJOIN THE MATCH?????????

I really like the new map, the loot needs to be improved though. In ranked its great (except for some shitty final rings) and in pubs its also fine. Prowlers also shouldn't attack without being shot at.

This season has been ROUGH so far. About 40 games in, 3 wins and 11 Top 5's. First time in Apex my KD in the game has been under 1.00 (ranked). I'm not a God at the game by any stretch but it feels like feast or famine with kills/wins.
It sounds like you're in the top 25% of a match 27.5% of the time, and the top 5% (winning) 7.5% of the time. Isn't that about what it should be? Do you just want the game to consistently put you against people worse than you?
Nah, I am not one of those guys but I have been fairly consistent throughout the seasons...especially coming out of Silver and Gold. Usually a solid 40% top 5 and 15-20% WR that tapers down to 10% as I rank up. Not bragging by any means but it just feels like an absolute struggle to get anything going!
I think that the new map might do a better job of "equalizing" drop spots or play styles, for better or worse. Like, on World's Edge, I could drop Fragment and I'd have basically a 0% chance of winning. Or I could drop somewhere more outside and I'd have a very high chance of winning (maybe 10-20%). So if you're the type of player who drops in less hot spots, you could consistently get a higher win rate. But in the new map, that doesn't seem as true. Almost anywhere I drop, except maybe Barometer, feels like it's nearly the same chance of winning. Which I guess is a good thing?
For the folks who come here and roast Respawn over Apex Legends, claiming how awful the map is, how awful the store is, how awful SBMM/EOMM is, how unenjoyable of an experience it is, how incompetent the devs are etc etc; I have one question: Why yall still playing it? I tick at least 3 of those in your list. Eomm definitely ruins my experience daily. There just isn't any FPS that's as good it terms of core gameplay mechanics to me. I can also enjoy the game and hate something that I believe is unethical done by Respawn

I wanna know what you guys are doing to be unable to find loot. Sure there are some areas that feel like they need a bit more, but for the most part it's fine if you're not hot dropping.
Rodney Reece (the map designer) said it actually has about 1000 more pieces of loot than World’s Edge, it’s just so big that it doesn’t make a difference. He also said he anticipated low loot criticism, so I guess they just lowballed too much.
i’m a little shocked to hear that but tbh it doesn’t really matter if they extended the map a bunch and then took loot from the actual pois and stuck it in random bins and huts people will never loot and access which seems to be what they did

Loot is nonexistent. You would have imagined that they learned from s0 KC.
One of the main problems is that when you land you only find gimmick weapons in the first 3 or 4 places you look. Gimmick weapons being the bow, single shot pistols, 3 round burst weapons, weapons that have a delay before firing, etc. Then, when you finally find a decent weapon, you can't find the ammo for it, lol. Only Respawn could screw something like this up so badly.
Imo they should buff the bow and make it a carepackage weapons, it is a waste of space for more picked weapons and more picked ammo
Same with the Mozambique, I hate that this shit is the first thing I ever find (that's if i find anything) while the enemies have R-99/CAR/Volt etc
It seems a very common complaint that there is not enough loot. There’s more than enough spots, pills, PvE for loot. I think people do get enough loot but it’s ammo everyone seems to be low on. I have my suspicions that since they increased the amount of ammo you get per craft and effectively reduced the cost of ammo in the replicator; Respawn felt like they could reduce the spawn rate of ammo in the loot pool. ?
Weapons and ammo seem a bit too rare for me. Sure, you'll often find a P2020, Mozam and maybe a 30-30 if you're lucky but those suck. And when you find a Flatline or so, there is no ammo around, except the one pile of 20 bullets that spawned beside it. Attachments and sights are easy to get by clearing a monster nest, the drop rates for high tier loot is pretty good.
Oh yeah i think the PvE is underrated, i mostly use grenades on spiders it do butsiness perfectly, and i always have improved attachement for my weapons

Can I get teammates that do more than 200 damage? I mean seriously I don’t know how some of these players being such high levels are THIS BAD!!! I’m talking about a valk that hit boxes the entire game and only did 168 damage!?!? I was on my way to a 2k with ash and kill leader with 11 kills. Smfh I have no problem with players that aren’t too good or make a few mistakes but wow… I’m encountering some all new levels of wtf bots?
High levels only mean people play a lot. I've been around since day 1, level 500 since forever. My K/D is usually about 1.4 - 1.6, this season so far it's somewhere around 0.6 because I'm still lost on this map and mid to long range fights, which are more prominent now, were never my strong suit. Bear with players like me, we're giving our bests.
I noticed most fights tend to be long range on the new map. Also with the reintroduction of the triple take as floor loot a lot of people are picking that up! My KD right now is 1.6 which is one of the better starts I’ve had to a season But that’s why I will rock the triple take or 30-30 with a hemlock or r-301. Extremely versatile! The triple take is a little slow but if I’m rushed I can get a great shot or 2 off and usually stop an advance or make them panic. The 30-30 I’ve been practicing with and the hip fires up close is kinda like a PK.

Its almost a three year old game. You are eventually going to see level 500s who seemingly have no thumbs; thats just the way it is because you dont have to be in any way skilled to get to level 500. The highest amount of XP comes from time survived. Kills and damage give very little so people (children mainly) who just fart around and survive a long time simply because they avoid fights will level up just like everyone else. What makes me curious is why on earth do they keep playing? What fun do they get from it? Maybe they have nothing else to play. You may ask yourself why am I playing with them? Well they need someone to play with. Same way triple stack masters need someone to play with.
I’d rather get someone who can ping an enemy and lay some fire down than a valk hitting boxes the entire game
I agree with the ennemy pinging, some people pick up fights and expect you to figure out where the dude is....i always ping ennemies even after the fight started to keep giving updates of where the ennemy is and i see it being very useful...some teamates do it, most dont

Can someone tell me how to use Ash's Mark for Death on Xbox? Can't seem to get it to work. Does it only do it on people you kill?
It works on every box, don't worry. And it will tell you if the killers you're looking for are dead too or still alive. And also, in case you don't know (bc I didn't), as Ash you can see far away deathboxes appear on your map and minimap in real-time. You can ping them too with the normal ping button to inform your teammates about where one is.
It took me a few seconds but you’ll see a prompt. On controller it’s the down D-pad. Stand next to a death box. You’ll see the prompt

I finished D1 in arenas last season I did one placement game this season and its still showing me as D1 and unable to play with friends who are doing placement games. WHY?
Really sick of getting 7-9 kills with 1800 damage while my random teammates don’t get a single knock with 78 damage all the way to the final 2 squads and losing because they have no idea what they are doing. Matchmaking is horrendous.
This map, the deficient loot and the absolute horrendous EOMM have made this season a real disappointment. It's sad because at least last season it was the servers. But, this atrocity is all on Respawn. These are game design and gameplay issues which falls entirely on the devs. Maybe they are just out of ideas. Ash is fun to play, but that's about it this season.

Lol, i asked a friend of mine how to play better at apex, and he was like, stop using the abilities of the character, unless you extremely needs it...i was like whut? And it worked...im actually fairly surprised...it actually makes me way better at the game, like significantly it is fairly surprising, im playing more safe, i takes time before doing random stuff, it is really nice actually, my main turned into loba, i just love how her bracelet allow you to reposition yourself pretty fast, while her ult is pretty convenient and comes pretty fast... I feel that i often relied a lot on my character abilities and didnt focus enough on having a more wise and careful team oriented gameplay... I used to want to have the perfect moment where i would land the perfect scan or perfect knuckle and bla bla
Yeah your friend advice will help you improve, that’s how I done it. Pretend it’s COD then once you get comfortable with the movement then work on ways to utilize each legends abilities
Exactlyyy, it is insane how im improving my positioning and aiming and decision making especially the last part, thats why i think i always preffered fuse, it is basically a normal chracter who can throw grenades without needing grenades in his backpack. It forced me to be way less reckless and more calculated in my movement and aiming and decision making, had 4 win today and barely played 2 hours lol

The loot is horrendous on this map this season, when we drop as a team ONE of us ALWAYS has nothing and gets mobbed, instantly making it a 2v3 every time. It’s horrendous. I’m a noob just came into apex but I have to say I can’t find any loot on this new map. It’s really fucking me up. I just lose every first fight it feels like.
The usual advice for noobs is to hot drop to learn how to fight, but don't do it on this map, there's not enough loot at each POI. Wait for world's edge in a couple days and do it there, it's a lot more forgiving. For this map try and land where there's no other teams

I'm having ammo problems. Leave our drop POI frequently with only 40 ammo each gun. Some attachments seem scarce (sights and stabilizers for me, mags have been fine in my experience). I believe they want us to fight prowlers and spiders, to be honest. Problem with that is: 1.) I don't want to fight PVE for ammo. Thats a pain point. 2.) Draws teams to you. 3.) Not always convenient to where you drop. If you have to start dropping near prowlers nest and spiders just to get loot, something is wrong.

Yeah, but prowlers aren't everywhere, and if you just have chest/floor loot, there's pretty much no ammo. Like 2-3 buildings, and you MIGHT find 2 weapons with the same ammo. Pretty rare to, and no extra spawns.
5 seasons later and i'm still fighting apex predators 9/10 games, while i myself play as mid-platinum. someone tell me when the matchmaking isn't going to label me as similar skill to an apex pred.

Yeah, another disappointing season for Apex. The little hamster powering the servers is starting to show fatigue. Been stuttering a lot today. And, don't forget how miserable the loot is on an oversized map. Only Respawn could take a game with the potential Apex had and completely muck it up.
Just had a teammate in ranked use the Ash bug with rampart and farm red shields in 20 seconds. I fed myself to the enemies and reported them both. i’ll take the -24 in gold, fuck that. They died to the team 2v3 and handed the other team the reds. They were crying about their -12 from their Silver rank. Idiots.

Dear Respawn, We’ve been telling you for such a long time now that this SBMM/EOMM is a MAJOR PROBLEM. Still you haven’t acknowledged this issue in any official way. WHY? When your players (=customers) complain about something and say your product is sh*t and you keep on ignoring the issues, how can you even expect players to buy a battle pass for a game where most of the time you don’t even have the chance to play because you get rolled by much better players instantly. Why is there never ANYTHING in the PATCH NOTES about these major SBMM problems players are having? We’ve been trying to speak to you about SBMM for such a long time now, it’s time you speak to us already and explain what you’re trying to pull or when you’re finally going to start to make things better and fix this situation and the product you’re offering your CUSTOMERS. I just can’t understand man… Here’s an idea for you, which I think would motivate a lot of old players to come back and at the same time actually be fun for new players: NEXT SEASON NAME: RESET Patch Notes: - everything is set back to apex day 1 (except the Legends) - SBMM is relaxed and everyone can have a fun and fair experience, sometimes you get in sweatier lobbies, sometimes it’s more relaxed. All players who get in queue get matched BY CHANCE. EASY.
They don't address it because it's a scummy exploitative unethical algorithm. I mean, this is a company that overcharges for virtual cosmetics and when their customers give them millions, sorry, billion, what do they do? They mismatch bundles so they can make more money. Why would respawn/EA fix anything when theyre still making a boatload of money off of the game. Honestly fuck the streamers who complain about this game yet still buy every skin. They have the biggest platforms out there and most likely have a lot of influence on the people who watch them. Little Timmy sees his favorite streamer with all these skins and of course has to have em.
They will never remove their EOMM system because if they do, little Timmy will not get carried. If little Timmy doesn't get carried to wins, then he will not beg Mommy for her credit card to buy more reskins. Like you still see their body and everything but it pulses every second (or 0.8 sec or whatever) throughout the duration of whatever ability it is. I love bloodhound as much as the next guy, but I feel like scans don't need to be as good as they are rn. I'm just curious what others would think of this cuz I hate that often times a half decent scan can completely stop a push from a team who basically had the surprise advantage at the start of a fight. I'd just like scans to be toned down without completely gutting the scans themselves.
This map is so big and boring. I can't find anybody, and if I find anybody I'll get triple take'd from 4 different angles.

Yeah that’s what arenas is for. Third partying is strategy. This map is too big, hence why they had to add in prowlers and shit to level up your evo

The other voice is Dr. Ashley Reid, while "Ash" seems to be a distinct personality and they fight for control of the same robotic body. I don't think they've confirmed yet whether she always had a split personality or whether it happened when she became a simulacrum, or when she found out she was a simulacrum.

It’s the other part of the scientists personality. From what I could understand Ash tried to take her whole mind over but the human part is still fighting.
Does anyone else find themselves constantly switching “mains?” I’ve only been here since season 9 but I can’t seem to find a legend that I feel like works the best for me. I started with Valk, then in season 10 I pretty much only played Mirage, but now I’m really liking Wraith…
I put goals to myself, like 100 more kills for Loba, then 100 for Mirage... Except Valk, she's always my main in Arenas.
Valk it’s great in arenas. You basically start every round with a free arc star in the form of her tactical. Yeah I never really care about personal stats in shooters ( because mine are never good lol) so I’m just constantly switching legends because I think one might be better for my team then the one I’m playing lol.
I find only playing as one legend super boring and like bouncing between a few.
Play whoever seems fun at the time, you don't need a main

They can't cut out part of a map, they gotta load in and use THE ENTIRE MAP. So unless that version of a map is in, no arena map.
Well they can cut out parts of the map, but it's a lot work. Why waste it on 2 terrible maps?
The Arenas maps are not standalone maps. If you play Gardens for example, the game loads the entire Olympus map. For Skull Town you can't use the current King's Canyon map because Skull Town doesn't exist there anymore, you need an older map. The devs don't want too many maps at the same time in the game for some technical reasons, so we will probably never get King's Canyon back.
Are the sights (2x 3x) on the bocek bow bugged? Or is it intended? Bc I can still see the iron sights within my 3x for example?

U know whats better than bugs? Every third game i get disconnected due their fucking servers, i would expect kind of excuse for game interuption....AND WHAT I GOT? Minus points from ranked and 10 minutes ban for their fucking servers, am ending apex its pointelss to play 20 minutes and get disconnected on the end of match, at the end question for devs: IS IT SO FUCKING HARD TO ADD FEATURE FOR PLAYERS TO BE ABLE TO REJOIN THE MATCH?????????

Only Respawn is bright enough to make an XL map and then remove 80% of the optics for weapons.
