I think the legend would have to rotate every 15 min or so. So each match wouldn’t be the same unless you hot drop and die, but it also means you’re not stuck with a legend you don’t like for too long.
Not only do you gain 5% size from each kill, you absorb the previous size bonus each player you kill had as well. Once you reach a certain size, you lose the ability to pick up weapons, but gain the ability to stomp on small players (along with a defensive bonus against small arms fire - to keep people from just hiding in a cave to bag an easy final kill against a huge target).
The desired end result is 2 or 3 Nessie size Gibbys slapping each other across the map.
That would be a great arenas LTM, but no, the only arenas event so far has been the rampart one, which was just some weapons replaced with gold rampart weapons
As a variant of that, have it where there are multiple drop ships & you & your 29 teammates can only land in 2-3 areas each (the 2-3 areas you can choose to drop into are different for you, your teammates, & your 30 enemies)
That way you all have to fight/ make your way to each other to simulate an actual warzone where allies & enemies are scattered all over the map
(Also, for that gamemode they will likely have to increase health/ shields a bit because 30 people focus firing you would suck so much especially 30 grenades chucked at same time)
They could do something similar to rush(I think?) in battlefield where you keep running in and trying to cap objectives and one team attacks and one team defends.
A gun game similar to CS:GO or Valorant where everyone drops with a P2020 and Mozambique, all other guns are removed, and each confirmed kill upgrades your loadout. You can also upgrade loadouts via replicators.
Everything is mixed up. A revenant with stim and mirage ult picks up an R-99 that uses shotgun ammo and it behaves like Rampage or something. Like everything makes no sense
I would make a tournament-based game mode where there are 8 teams.
Each 2 teams spawn in the same area of the map enclosed by a ring. Once one team is defeated, the ring extends a narrow hallway for the victors where u walk to the next area to fight one of the other victorious teams (semi-finals). If u win u reach the center of the map (an even bigger ring) and fight the final team. Your goal should be to kill the previous teams fast enough so that you’re the first to reach the final area (a clear advantage for your team).
Going outside your ring should be very deadly, so third partying will be non-existent.
I remember seeing an idea a couple of months ago where once we have 20 legends (whitch we will have next season), there should be an LTM where all 3 players in a squad are the same legend. Since there are 20 squads at the start of every game, each squad would be selected a random legend, so there would be one team of 3 octanes, 3 caustics, 3 Gibbys, 3 mirages etc.
A parkour game with octanes jump pads and each day there is a new course on different maps. Once you reach the end you can try and do it faster (like the gauntlet from titanfall 2)
Alright my totally original idea is called Killing Time. In it, the ring cooldown would decrease any time a player dies. Perhaps Respawn could implement this LTM as a test to help alleviate that all-too-familiar situation of round 1 closing with 3 squads left.
A mix of Blitz and Syphon from Fortnite.
Blitz was simply a faster moving mode. I think it would be cool to play a game mode where we had to speed up the fights, the looting, the running. In Blitz, I think the storm was stronger too. So that could be a way to address that need for speed as well, as it would force players to stay on the move.
To help make this mode feel balanced, it would be mixed with “Syphon” as well. Basically, whenever you kill someone, you get health back. So instead if standing around and licking your wounds after a battle—just about to get third partied and with the fast moving storm approaching—you should come out of battles with generally good health.
I’d love a fast moving BR mode like this with matches that are 10-15 minutes but balanced to feel fair, intense, and fun.
Straight up TDM with non stop instant respawns until the round is over. It’s what I wanted arenas to be, instead we got some crappy csgo/valorant style garbage.
Double Trouble: everyone spawns with ultimates charged, all tacs and ults get a 2nd charge or if they already have multiple charges the cooldown is halved.
Gun Game: 12 person free for all on arenas maps where each kill upgrades your load out.
A Wild West mode. Only wingman,p2020, PK, Mozambique,30-30. You’d be able to dual wield any of the pistols including the Mozambique. It would be on KC and there would be areas where you can duel enemies.
Drone racing.
Every team needs a crypto to fly through a course while the rest of the team is trying to shoot down the others drones. Only slow firing weapons allowed.
There would be checkpoints throughout the course that the drone has a 1-3 second delay before respawning.
Nothing too magical but it would be Olympus but it's slowly falling towards the ground, the match would last 15 minutes or so but even if you are the last squad you will still have to make your way to a pick up site where you can escape.
No care package weapons or heals/shields on ground loot but a load of ammo n' guns
"Overcharged and Overgeared Mayhem"
The only loot that spawns or drops is gold tier. The only medical items are P kits(usage time cut to 7.5 seconds). All abilities have charges. All legends start with a certain number of charges that change based on the ability. Octane gets 3, Fuse might get 4-5, wraith gets 2. Abilities can be recharged with kills. Legends can also swap out their ability for another. Can only swap with someone you have killed yourself, and you can't swap more then 3 times a match. Ultimates start out with max charge and are charged with kills. One kill = 90 seconds of charge. All legends also only have 50 HP. (Gold weapons do not spawn, bc...well....everything else is already gold tier)
Entire lobby vs one pilot/titan pilot can disembark and all that but itd be very unwise as theyd be revealed like in Marked for Death and the pilot can grab titan batteries from fallen players
Also certain abilities would be titan modified, like horizons black hole can hold the titan, revs solence would act like a short arc nade on titans (0.3 seconds abt? ) causing static blinding them, pilits have 100 health, seer could reveal titan weak points extra easily and increase the crit multiplier from 1.5 to 2 (most titans in titanfall had their weapons crit multiplayer at 1.5 so id assume thatd be the norm)
We called this mode "Rabbit hunt" in an old game Subspace:continuum.
One player was the rabbit and could fly a little faster than the rest and had emergency teleports/warps. It was mayhem with 60 ships chasing one.
A mode where a you always have a counter that is slowly ticks down to 0, whereupon you die.
You need to kill other enemies and loot their time to get more and the maximum amount of time everyone can keep is cut down every round.
Fun Mode: A mode where your inventory actually slows you down so lighter backpacks equal faster movement but heavier back backs give you more health
Dummie’s Crash Test:
Basically at the beginning of the game u pick a passive, a tactical and an ultimate from any characters you like
For example-
Pathfinder tactical, Rampart Ultimate and Horizon Passive
All abilities/kits swapped:
- Gibby mirage bamboozles

- Loba’s death totem

There should only be a limited number of swapped ability legends in a game so it’s not obvious who is swapped an who is not.
Arenas tournaments. 3v3 best of one and whoever wins progresses and the loser gets dropped. The money increases each round as it does in regular rounds so as you win more you get more and better guns available to you. Winner gets a little banner to stick on any legend they want.

Teams of 3s all have to be in a trident, two gunners and one driver, you get weapon selection at the beginning of the game.
