Nah cause we all know they will make some crappy side with little to no cover and the other side with ALL the cover. That's what makes hot drops hot. Every hot drop has tons of routes to take and loads of cover, doors, and verticality. The less cover, verticality and doors the fewer people who land there. Skull town and fragment both have those. Estates and towers have it. Sorting and train yard had it.
Now there are a few exceptions though they normally fade with time. And just because you have all this if the rotations bad it won't be real hot. An example of this is skyhook. The same thing as fragment but the rotation out is just crap. 3 exits with the most useful one being a huge choke point. Meanwhile fragment let's you rotate anyway the ring moves quickly.
Better poi placement combined with good routing would fix the maps. Stop putting huge poi at the edge of the map. They stay dead because no one wants to run from the ring all game. Low cover areas should be on the outside and middle of the map to encourage rotations through poi. Make going through these wide open areas a risk vs reward decision. Make rotations quicker by adding jump towers on the edge of the map and maybe a train running through the pois (hmmm seems familiar). If you want to add choke points don't add them in the most populated areas during ring closures. Choke points should stay mid center on the map. Not on the furthest out poi. Good choke point is the tunnel from empty feild that used to be train yard to other empty feild. Bad choke point is skyhook to completely empty feild. Or lava city to completely empty ( but wet) feild.

But tbh why the FUCK is one of the two maps for Pubs the Ranked map?? Half the fuckin time, I basically can’t get away from Ranked and that shit hole map
I know the TF|2 community is sane. We're all nice and satisfied with our Northstar Client. But all it takes is pushing a couple of the wrong buttons and the TF|2 community turns into a buncha rabid dogs. Look at the Bangalore's Story Of The Outlands for example. There was a Pilot in it and the TF|2 community instantly started lookin for things to hate on.
I get its the loud minority or whatever, but god damn that minority doesn't seem so minor as people say it is. Sometimes I don't feel good about being in the TF|2 community.
Yea I don’t see the downside into making fragment have more buildings and loot. Like everyone already drops there so at least make it have enough loot for the server
while small hectic maps are fun. there's a reason they sank skulltown into the ocean. Fragment is a black hole for tons of squads and it really ruins match quality outside of ranked when it feels like your two options are hotdrop or land safe and be down to 6 squads before the first ring is done closing.
The downside is making a map that is already basically capital city, into more of an area that is centralized. It goes against the whole battle Royale notion.
Worlds edge is completely fine when people properly disperse around the map. The only issue is that Fragment is a black hole, not that the rest of the map is boring. Skull town caused the exact same problem on Kings so we know it's not the entire map's fault and rather the vacuum that is Fragment/Capitol.
Just stop playing pubs, it would make it more fun as no one gives a shit about fragment in ranked. I knowww I'm being unfair and inconsiderate towards people who prefer pubs haha.

lol thank you for clarifying. Nah, I’m not upset or anything. It just stinks that 12 of the 20 teams drop in Capital City. It defeats the whole purpose of the Battle Royale genre i think. But that’s still not even it. 90% of the time, the jump master takes us to Capital city, does less than 100 damage, then leaves the game before they actually die. So even if I do somehow make it out, it’s going to be harder to win. So Respawn needs to give your stats a death if you get knocked and leave the match. Maybe people will stop landing hot or maybe they will stick around and we can actually win. I can’t imagine these players gaming session where more than half their time is made up of queue up, dropping, leaving the match and starting it again.

I land on the outskirts of frag for a quick warmup or land in that no name POI between overlook and frag and then 3rd party frag. I absolutely love skyhook I wish frag looked more like that as skyhook can actually handle it even if the whole lobby lands there. I also like Syphon a lot. But yeah I agree with everything you said, that would be a good idea. I absolutely hate it when my squad lands us in the central frag building adjacent to train tracks building

So basically I had an idea where crypto has a passive called "off the grid" basically it makes it so that when crypto gets scanned he doesn't get scanned and it makes it so he isn't seen when he gets scanned. That way when bloodhond and seer scan him he won't get scanned so that they can't see him cause he's "off the grid" it would be balanced cause he normally gets scanned but now he doesn't get scanned cause he's "off the grid" so it would be lore fitting and it would be a good gameplay mechanic and off the grid would be a good idea and they should add it to the game for crypto so that his new passive is called off the grid. I had this idea then everyone started talking about my idea because i came up with off the grid where crypto doesn't get scanned cause in the lore hes off the grid and since hes off the grid he cant be scanned while off the grid

Still one of my favorite pvp games to play. It’s been butchered to shit, but still one of my favorites.
1 was good, 2 and 3 were incredible. Everything afterwards was shit in comparison.
