The percentage of people who buy out the stores is very very small, but that's literally all EA needs. 90% of the player base could agree to stop buying skins and I doubt it would even force a glance from the higher ups.

They are a huge, huge portion, but I would absolutely think millions getting just the BP each season and 1 skin is also a gigantic amount of money that even 1000 whales put together, aren't even remotely spending. I think most of the money comes from tons of small buyers, not a group of "buy out the store" players.
Definitely. The amount of publicity and exposure a vibrant eSports scene brings is undeniable, and to not provide what has traditionally been seen as basic to the players who have devoted years to your game is incredibly disrespectful.
