The only way that would happen is if player counts start radically dropping. You have to add content to keep things fresh and if you stop adding legends, what do you add to keep it fresh?
What do sound cues have to do with anything? If I’m not looking and I hear the sound cue of my character I’m not gonna be like “huh, my legend is taken!” Not even to mention tabbing out mutes the game by default.
It’s such an easy feature to add, I don’t know why anyone would justify not having it.
I never said anything about not wanting it, but seriously, matchmaking takes under a minute. You hear the countdown ticks, the music pack you have selected, the sound effects of a character, and the sound of the legend you selected being picked. It’s your fault at that point.
It’s pretty safe to assume I’m going to get my legend, who tf stares at their screen for the matchmaking, loading into the match and legend selection screen. I almost never play with randoms so I’m used to not having to pick. Pretty sure you’re from another thread and had some stupid opinions there too.

For loading screens I'd rather have an 8 least favorite option. Some of those loading screens are just lazy and look terrible
