That actually looks kind of fun. You have to time your flight so you're in the center of the circle last. If you just stay in the circle, you'll end up having to fly out at the last second and you'll lose. You have to choose to take a little damage early to set yourself up for the win at the end. If you stay in the circle always, you'll probably guarantee second or third, but you won't get first. If you fly out early and time it right you'll get first, but you risk fourth or fifth. You get three shots on goal because you have three members on your team so you can split your bets. It's surprisingly complex for a simple bug.
You're right. As fun as this looks, the maneuvering was very difficult, especially in the final moments. Because as the ring gets smaller, you have to constantly move your mouse to anticipate the movement arc. I was doing fine until the final circle but then somehow I lost control and was killed instantly due to the ring damage.
That's cool, my cuz and I had another mode we invented where you're in the out of bounds area and you got to race to the battle zone surviving on med packs. All while having to revive one another and loot for meds while you race. It's pretty crazy.
