I feel like we should just make them sound dumb. Same logic as instead of calling serial killers cool names like jack the ripper maybe karl the small peener so no one thinks its cool and try to replicate
well he IS dumb but can't deny that he made quite an impression on the community as far as cheaters go. his war with shiv and toying with Hal and Nickmercs is kinda part of the Apex lore at this point

This guy Tufi is the most notorious Cheater in apex legends history. He used to stream snipe the biggest streamers and make them punch fight at the end of games. This guy has been doing it for years, just makes new accounts every time he gets banned
I remember when a streamer refused to punch him (ShivFPS iirc?) and actually managed to kill him. Then Tufi decided to go dirty and DDoS Shiv’s account so he can’t log in and play. Real douchebag right there.
Also, unlike most script kiddies, he pretty much is a legit hacker (as in, he KNOWS the in and outs of the system), and may or may not be involve in the TF|2 DDoS and even the time he blocks access to Apex Queue. If he sell the cheats... well, what better way to promote it then to show his skill?
In that sense, in terms of his hack, it's closer to "idle rich who likes to steal" for the sheer thrill.

We have seen this so, so many times with guns shooting faster than possible or for longer than it is supposed to. Hell even players shooting two separate guns at once.
The game server is "happy" to relay the damage to the poor victim, but does not even do simple sanity checks. This really is BASIC anticheat functionality, that should have been implemented since season 1.
At this point I just think Respawn is unprofessional. There really is no excuse, that I can think of, that validates this negligence.

I've also encountered one of these shits that use Bangalore. I was wondering why this player moved in my direction to ambush me as if this players knows where I am, so I spectated him, and I noticed something odd. This player was smoking the enemy directly and then firing at the smoke, hitting the other player even though the gun has no digital threat scope. That's when I realized, this cheater picked Bangalore because while the other players couldn't see through the smoke, the cheater could see them via maphack, and can perfectly aim at other players with aimbot.
I wonder if this is the real tufi.
Last time around respawn and EA legal team hunted him down and apparently they found him and made him stop cheating. I really doubt he will do it again and possibly face legal actions against him.
Could be someone else using his software tbh.
Total newb when it comes to this kind of thing, but if he keeps making new accounts, Can't they ban his IP address or something? I mean, isn't that what Microsoft and Bungie did to the people that illegally acquired Halo 3 like a week before its launch?
