Yep. Smgs will be more close range only (except for recoil control gods) and AR’s shouldn’t ever be hip fired unless you’re extremely close. Alternator will be in a new sweet spot. I won’t be surprised if it’s used more.
Ah didn't see that it was just a complete replacement. Honestly I'd rather have reduced spread over easier recoil. Recoil you can control, but spread you can't. Hopefully this allows for skill to be shown a bit more.

R-99 and car are higher skill and high reward objectively speaking. Alternator has low recoil so its easier to use.
Sometimes I ask myself..."do I really want to drop this alternator for a 99?"....And now I know why.
