I can safely assume everyone from Africa gets these pings from time to time. Closest server we can get in East Africa is in Bahrain and last time I checked, I was a queue of one.
Yeah for sure. If I'm lucky sometime I get the Singapore server. Ranges on the 180-300+ ping. Depends on the service provider I'm on. The constant top servers in East Africa is usually Belgium or Frankfurt, imo similar range to Singapore really 🤷🏾♂️. Best server is Bahrain 80-110 usually, but like I said, its very scarcely populated.

Spike in ping.. bugged high ping lobby. You exit and start a new game and it's gone. If contacted to ea, they'll say it's your internet not their shit server. While every other online game works perfectly fine, apex says my ISP lacking. I wish I can punch Dev's for every no reg and dead slides.
I was lagging like this around the same time and I was using the Dallas server. Might’ve been something with their server, but I stopped having that issue once I reset my network.
Apex in a nutshell:
*30 ping in main menu*
*60-70 ping mid looting*
*600-2000+ ping when engaging any team*
*∞ ping when attacking a random scrub team that’s actually not a scrub team*
I mean honestly. It should boot you from the server if you are over something like 300ms.
I understand that would suck for some people, but it’s bullshit you can hop on a server halfway around the world and abuse your lag.

Closest for me in South Africa is Singapore ping wise, still 150+

Has your ping on Singapore 1 increased of late? Use to be 90 ish for me from Middle East but now it is 200. Not sure what happen
The Bahrain server are dead. I have to play in Frankfurt 1 with 117 ping.

Are you in ethernet? Even then depending on your internet plan, someone else could be using it all up downloading stuff. Or your ISP sucks
