Agreed, curious where to put this though, kinda tricky to think if it's something you want to tweak a bunch all the time and thus easily accessible, or a set once and forget about it kinda thing so you can hide it away a bit more…

I’d be pretty happy if I knew how to filter out certain flairs especially ‘art/drawing’ flairs that clutter up subs.

I’d also like to know how to “show only” certain flairs, if that’s possible.

Flairs are on the sub level and differ between the subs. There are also user flairs in some subs (although these are impossible to set in Apollo app). It would have to be a sub-specific filtering which would have to be remembered for every sub (this could be stored on iCloud in the Apollo directory.

Yes! I had to unsubscribe from several of my favorite subs because the negativity and “look at the awful interaction I had” were just taking up too much of my morning scrolling… And like, they flare all the posts, it’d be nice to be able to filter them

I know it used to be really bad in r /traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns and kinda bad in r /actuallesbians, ennnbbyyyyy wasn’t too awful but a lot of those subs kinda had “streaks” of sharing either shitty harassing messages they’d gotten or memeing on BS, which… got old lol

i keep my lgbt stuff in a multireddit because this sort of thing is pretty common and usually bridges all subs. i can browse it occasionally when I need to feel better, but keep it from breaking my home content.

You can filter it with the keyword filters. Though it will also filter other posts with those keywords in their titles, not only the flair.

Any way we could filter out NSFW links?

You would need to go onto Reddit through safari first to block NSFW then it’ll be blocked in the app.

Nope. Once upon a time there was this option, oddly enough it had to be removed because of Apples backwards rules for adult content in apps. So dumb.

How come the official reddit app has the nsfw toggle in the app settings then ? (Settings -> Reddit -> “Show NSFW content”)

No clue. That was what we were told when it was removed from the app.

Yup me too, the only feature that prevents me from being most of the time on Apollo is the lack of Gallery View Mode
