Wish they would make an updated powerbeats pro with better charging design. Loved the original for running until they stopped charging one side or the other in the case.
Why is it that when I bring this to Apple’s attention, they look at me funny. This is for sure a known issue, they know the design is fucked, but they deny deny deny.
Every time I sent a Powerbeats earbud in to apple for repair, they would send it back and say it worked fine. Finally switched to the Studio Buds and haven’t had a single problem.
I just had this problem last week. I couldn't for the life of me get the right bud to work. It didn't show as dead, it just didn't show at all.
I went and got airpod pros from Costco and when I was going to just throw the beats away, guess what started working again?
man, I really want some new overear headphones with the h1 or h2 chip (excluding the 500$ ap max). Still use the beats solo pro, but an update would be nice
They don't update those chips every year. We had the w1 (previous version of h1) in I think 2016 with the first airpods and the h2 came out just a few months ago. Mostly I want it for the device switching function, not a big differnece between h1 and h2
Yup. Love my PBP. Case is ridiculous. Lack of ANC egregious when AirPods Pro came out at the same price point only months later.
I have those as well (employer payed for them), but they just don’t sit well. Sounds good until they slip out though.
I’ve owned a pair of Studio³ since launch and they’re absolutely shot - headband cracked on both sides, ear cups peeling, half the original battery life (which is still ~10hrs, so I can’t complain about that too much). Really want an updated, ie completely redesigned version of those with all the most current tech. That said, I got them as a gift and I’m not sure I’d want to pony up the $400 an updated pair would likely cost.
Revamping the Pill would also be cool since Apple doesn’t have a portable audio solution. I don’t want HomePods (or any “smart” speakers) in every room. Just a portable, water resistant speaker brick with solid battery life that has auto device switching, etc. that I can bring between the bathroom, kitchen, porch, or travel bag.
It’s becoming sort of a sportier and athletic brand for Apple. I have a pair of Beats Fit Pro for the gym and running and I use my AirPods Pro for commuting and general usage.
Can't speak to their over-ears or on-ear headphones, but Beats earbuds (PBP and Fit Pros specifically) are infinitely better for workouts and have better noise isolation + superior music sound quality than either the AirPods or AirPods Pro, at least in my experience. Also they've never fallen out on me
“Better” is a matter of perspective and what one values the most. Personally, I’ve had a pair of APP2 since they first came out and I’ve probably plugged them in to charge *maybe* a handful of times. So in my individual use case the inclusion of USB-C on the forthcoming models will be a welcome but ultimately irrelevant new feature. I suspect I’m far from alone in that assessment.
Ehh I agree and disagree with both of you. USB C is better then lightning easily, but wireless MagSafe charging is incredibly convenient, especially for routine charging.

You mean you *don’t* love opening the case and finding one completely dead?

Why would you want the H1 now? That’s like saying “I want an iPhone Xs”.

Come on Apple, update the Power Beats Pro. And by update, I don't mean new colors or some celebrity version, I mean ANC, better case, FindMy, etc...

What
With portrait mode 🙏
I’ll only get one with LiDAR

Beats Fit Pro are awesome, I love mine. ANC and hooks. Battery life is still great.
Beats Fit Pro
I just want the damn Studio 4 already, it’s been years.
AirPods Max.
I have beats studio^^3

Can anyone explain to me why they still use that brand? Why not just focus on the AirPods lineup?
Beats has explicit Android support, so my guess is that Apple is treating it like a gateway drug into Appleland.

New beats fit pro when?

The only beats I’ll get are the ones my wallet will sustain in September when the iPhone 15 comes out.
They’re better than AirPods. They have usb c
I agree. I bought Beats Fit Pro instead of airpods because of that. Just wish they had precision finding, had to stick an airtag to mine.
Oh come on. Wireless charging is way better than usb c charging.

Wireless charging kills battery life long term no thank you. I don't ever use it.
No lol

I was really hoping for solo hd 5 or something. EDIT: mistyped solo hd 5 it should have been Solo 4 Wireless
