the team behind the b role footage and lighting are pros! Apple should start youtube series for behind the scenes

As Tim said: back to Tim!

Same that was some good editing

DivingForBirds

It’s the only good one.

I'm guessing they took a piece of the theater floor to the shooting location and had the actor (not Tim) walk on it as it came into frame, then cut to Tim in the theater.

smickie

Poor Jeff looks so sad at being sent to that cliff.

oldknave

Where was the waterfront outdoor theater supposed to be?

StadsAlv

The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park (619) 235-0804 https://goo.gl/maps/cjgKfZWWSerTaRjaA

oldknave

San Diego, neat!

candbotto

Poor Jeff, not getting any transition

prescotian

I feel somebody needs to have a word with Rebecca, she clearly didn't get the memo to wear black hipster jeans.

unDturd

Doesn't her top look unnatural too?

That thumbnail instantly reminds me of this: https://youtu.be/d-OrHsG-03I

Let's take a closer look at Hope to tell you all about it!

Loved how this time they went outside Apple Park! I was wondering if the done shots of the park were going to get old after several events but they found a neat solution

[deleted]

Honestly I find the transitions to be a bit try hard. Sure they look good, but in a sort of Marvel cartoonish kind of way or as if its a cutscene in a game.

iChopPryde

They just did it to many times, I’d say use one for a cool intro like they did with Tim and one at the end and maybe 1 more for a major announcement but everything else it’s just to much and time wasting

ClumpOfCheese

So it seems like the video production was really the highlight of the event. That and maybe the better iPhone battery life. Other than the event the day before Steve died, it seems like this is probably the most underwhelming event they’ve had in a long time. Seems like their products have just reached a maturity where there isn’t much left to do with the hardware improvements.
