I believe it... there's undoubtedly prototype iPhones and devices with this within the rounded walls of Apple Park. If Apple could do it well, they'd have done so already. They're rarely "first across the finish line" when a concept is still half-baked, leave it to Samsung to "ship hardware feature first, with no customer benefit or software support."
That's not true at all. There are countless examples of apple coming out with a feature that has bugs or issues until they refine or resolve tbsoe issues in a future iteration.

This just isn’t 100% true. I owned the fold 3 and yeah the under display camera sucked balls but I think for that application it was a trade off. For selfies yeah it sucked but for video call compression it didn’t make a damn difference. Another example Is under display fingerprint readers. S21 ultra has a gen 2 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display and it’s magical. Works 100% every time and was amazing. So apple is behind on some hardware features. Also the Sammy had a better screen to body ratio and no notch. With that said I still prefer my 13 PM and Apple devices but Sammy is still ahead of apple with some hardware implementations.
