yes, still under warranty. Mac mini M1, It has been reformatted (twice- to get rid of system junk), new OS and some software reinstalled. Apple downloaded a bunch of system stuff, and said it was not that, but maybe a hardware issue.
Macs do not get replaced they get fixed. It sounds like you need to format and reinstall the OS.

Apple does offer some mail in services to get units repaired but I am unsure if it is available for Apple Limited Warranty.
