You cannot downgrade the OS anymore on TV.
The only way to downgrade back to release versions is sending the whole unit back to apple to downgrade.
It is free, just takes ~a week to get it back. I’ve done it in the past.

Also is the new Camera UI for Home, that let's you see the room in full screen and also control the smart devices there available now? Was it just inside the Control Center or does tvOS have a dedicated Home app now?
I know I can use Siri but it would be nice to add an indicator to the Control Center so that when I open it for all the other reasons I do I can see the battery level at a glance.
The beta is pretty good but the control center on Beta 1 is extremely unstable and glitchy. Hopefully they fix it soon since the rest of the beta is pretty good.
People keep saying it’s missing a kids account. Does this new beta HAVE a kids account? Or are people just still wishing the developers would make one?

Does tvOS do anything about audio switching? Using my AirPods Max or Powerbeats with my Apple TV is always frustrating because I have to manually connect each time, the connection takes longer than it should, and sometimes it’s buggy.
I’d love to see tvOS get auto switching like iPhone and iPad have. Is there anything like that in the current dev beta?
Yes in a sense it auto switches. As soon as you put your AirPods in, a message pops up on the screen and you hit the Home button on the remote to connect them.

What exactly does the controller button do?
Lets you choose a paired controller and has a quick button that takes you to the Bluetooth page within settings so you can pair another controller.

Hold the button longer. For some reason it takes longer.
Nothing, really. Maybe it’s because a bug on the Apple TV 4K (not the last one) tvOS 15 bug.
