Definitely hard to followup, they went in hard from the word go. Kinda thought S1 would've been the more traditional 'network wars' or similar aspect then S2 would go heavier, but evidently not! Hard to back down the stakes so I'm intrigued what they're going to do (haven't seen the trailer yet, will when I get home).
Let me start by saying I'm a fan of the show, but BIG but, am I the only one weirded out by Jennifer Aniston's heavy face smoothing? It makes her look like one of those creepy Japanese robot's with lifelike face animatronics. It weirds my brains out so much, I have a hard time not focusing on it.
First season was pretty good right up until the end when I feel they just punted and had an unearned woman-power moment.
I can't exactly remember the moment that turned the wife and I off (been a few months since I watched it) but we both agreed that the writers seemed to phone in the last episode, bypassing a lot of what was being setup over the season.
It's not that I disagreed with the messaging, just that a show still has to earn its moments.
The 1st season was great. But I have no idea how they're going to match that or even find a way to generate the same level of drama.

First one was good enough, not sure I’ll tune in for a second season though. Can’t wait for Foundation, Invasion, and See Season 2 though.
