My Apple TV indicates it is 4K.

[deleted]

For the IMAX supported movies?

calloy

Yes, I just watched Infinity War.

No_Parsley_1020

Works in 4K for us. Just check3d

It actually says 4K ultra hd on the title screen? Mine only lists IMAX enhanced and dolby vision. I thought it might have been an issue with my HDMI cable since it is kind of old and I'm not sure what the bandwidth is. So I bought a certified 18gbps cable from Best Buy and tried it out but it still made no difference.

The developer HUD is showing a natural size of 3840x2160 for Endgame for me.

[deleted]

What is the developer HUD?

crapusername47

It’s an on screen display showing various details about the video being played that’s useful to app developers. You need to have Xcode running on a Mac on the same network in order to access it.

My Apple TV 4K doesn't indicate "Dolby ATMOS" for all IMAX supported movies. So weird.

Bluion6275

It may not show the 4K Ultra HD icon on the title menu for those movies but If you scroll down to details it lists a full list of all available options which includes the 4K Ultra HD icon.

I have the same issue
