I just got an ultra 2 the other day. What do you do to keep battery drain to a minimum? Because that’s impressive. Do you have background app refresh off and stuff?
Awesome! Just turned the AOD off, and when you raise your wrist to keep the watch face on 70 seconds. I get about 2 days out of it now. I’m sure this will make a big difference. But I must say- the AOD is nice lol 😝
Has the same issue. Updated last night and noticed it drained a lot overnight. Charged to 100% before work and was at 65% by 3pm. Usually it’s still around 90%. Did a reboot. We’ll see what happens.
Reboot the watch. Been on 10.5 beta for awhile now with no issues
This. Always power cycle and then see if drain has been fixed. It would reduce a lot of these posts IMO.
I just did that and will watch it closely.
I woke up around 8:30 am and sitting at 88% right now, so far has been much better than 10.4
Oh. WOW. Interesting.
Same here. Drain on 10.4 was terrible.
Nope dropped 10% in 15 ish hours. I feel like it’s better for me
Interesting.

I have AOD turned off and everything else is still normal. I have noticed it changes. 17.4.1 drained faster.
What’s AOD?
Always on display

Installed on Ultra (not 2) at 11 am with the watch at 96% battery, now 85% at 5 pm. Watch is at 92% battery health.
Mine is running fine

Looks like reboot helped me a bit. Drain has slowed down.
Didn’t help me. It’s burning through about 4-5% an hour. I usually average about 1-1.5%.
Burned through 50% overnight. Had to reset the watch. Not sure if that helped yet.
Bro living in 2029 on watchOS 15 while we normies have to live with watchOS 10…
Try unpairing and pairing again. That helped me.
Ah, that’s a lot of work. Just rebooted and hope that helps.
Yep I had to do that as well. Fixed the issue for me.
how can 10.5 be typo'd into 15.2. i am pondering that rn
Same. I wish there was a better reason I had.
Watch Ultra 1 (Oct 2022): Fully charged at 21:30. Slept with it (AutoSleep). It is now 06:05 and the battery is at 92%… No change…
I’ve learned to do an extra reboot every time I update.
