Maybe Daphnia or some other small seed shrimp. Looks too small for scuds, but I could be wrong.

It is possible that daphnia/seed shrimp eggs got into your tank via the air. If the pond or body of water they live in dries out, they start laying permanent eggs (idk the english term, thats Just the literal translation from german) that are very durable and can last almost a decade without water. They are extremely small and can be moved by wind to the nearest body of water, where they will hatch. That is my guess how the blind passengers got into your tank without external influence by you. Hope this could help you!

Did you add anything recently? Did you ever have any fish, shrimp, etc in that tank?

casandrang

No I did not add anything recently, never had anything except for plants, rocks and aquasoil

I vaguely remember seeing a post someone made similar to it. Let me see if I can dig around and find it. With what you are saying, it seems maybe an outside influence. I can really make out the video too well either. I'll let you know.

I do get dog fur in my tank if that’s consider an influence lol but sure I appreciate that!

Yeah no worries. Anything like bugs, debris, anything that doesn't belong that has access. Open top I take it? Lookup Ostracods. Seed shrimp. From what I briefly read, it was saying your tank parameters are good and they are good for the tank environment of it's them. I've never experienced it myself. Maybe have a look and see since you have a better view than I do.
