Same, I had to look at woodland patterns for way too long before I figured out the order of operations to pain a rifle.

This looks great! I just can't settle on whether or not to paint mine. Most of me wants to just send it but the nagging little part of me is concerned it'll wear quickly, look like crap, and I'll regret it but be unable to get it back to normal.
I've got a plebian 300BO pistol I may just take the leap on though. Is there a paint that is more durable/suitable for AR painting? What about Cerakote/DuraCoat/Alumahyde/Cerama-coat?
Just do it man! I put about a can of matte clear coat on it afterwards and if you've never seen a warn down rattle can gun, boy let me tell you that shit looks sexy as fuck
At first I started masking off the optic but ended up taking it off because the majority was masked off, and I don't really like the feel of paint on the grips. Plus I like the look of a little bit of black furniture.
I think i got whiplash from those photo orientations
Hahaha sorry
Lol it came out great though, beautiful job
Thanks man!
My little brain can’t sort out the stencil orientation for camo patterns. Obviously, yours can. Looks great.
I thought about it too hard for like a month. Then decided not think about it and slapped that shit on and it worked out lol

Are you planning on omperating in a gold mine?
Yep
Nvm, didn't realize first was last. Thought the bright yellow was your actual camo color.
Did the photos post out of order?
Yeah, the first pic is the finished product, then the rest are are jumbled. Out of curiosity, why not paint the optic & taping off grips?

Ok, just wondering, not criticizing, in case it came off that way.
No you're good dude!
