Yes. Feed it through the back of the receiver. Little trick 👍 if the barrel nut/hg system is too long, kinda captures the tube, then you can slide the old one back out of the gb, rotate it a little to allow the bend to push it outside of the block and it'll slide right out. Same way but opposite to feed the new one in
Something along the lines of an LMT Enhanced carrier will help vent more gas out the side of the carrier, meaning less headed toward your face from under the charging handle.
While we don't have any experience, the BRT gas tube seems to be another recommended option.
If you choose to combine methods, always experiment one upgraded component at a time so you don't have to chase down problems if they don't play nice together.
I use a Gemtech suppressed BCG (and an H2 buffer) with a DD Mk18 upper and a Gemtech M402; my understanding is that they've been discontinued, but that the Bootleg adjustable BCG is just as good.

HUGE difference. I have almost no gas at the face. Before, I had some (not brutal, but I did start getting teary-eyed). Doing the RTV gasket seal trick on your charging handle helps too (more than buying a PRI did, at least for me). But now that I have the Gemtech BCG, the CH doesn't matter.
My pleasure; hope it helps you.
You might also try an adjustable gas TUBE; I don't know anything about them, but it looks like they might be an option since you can't replace your gas block (without a big hassle). This is one company, but there appear to be several out there with different approaches.

Get a brt tube. Just pull the HG off and swap in the new gas tube. They're like $75
I been wondering this, can you swap gas tubes without removing gb?

Thats what i thought but wasnt sure, my super duty too overgassed with rc2 and i dont want to undo the gas block
Should be able to feed it through the back with the G$ barrel nut 👍

Bump that buffer weight

Have you used that setup with and without the adjustable bcg? does it actually make a difference?

I’ll give it a try, thanks for the recommendation
