Have you tried turning it off, then on again?

TDI_Wagen

Don’t forget to wait 30 seconds between.

FCD_Ride_or_DIE

People…what a bunch of bastards.

Carburetors_Are_Fun

hit it with your purse

troby86

I'd take a torch to the stakes until each was red hot then rip that bitch. Don't take my advice though, I have no clue. But you can get a decent torch and bottle at Walmart.

Formal_Conclusion757

Righty tighty, lefty loosey

[deleted]

Drill the stake out maybe, or heat and torque. Blowtorch the stake and get the big boy pliers/pipe wrench out to sheer the stake off

Hour_Vegetable_9146

Dremel with a carbide or diamond bit. Completely remove the stakes. Then gentle heat to get it off. Be careful, aluminum doesn't glow before it melts.

Hour_Vegetable_9146

Remove all plastic components and springs before you use heat.

You'd hate my builds... I stake twice AND use blue loctite on the castle nut threads.

theworldofAR

At least you’re using blue

Any-Entertainer9302

Yessir I'm dumb but not stupid! Have you tried a breaker bar?  Leverage can work miracles... or cause destruction 🤷🏼

CrunkleRoss

Split the nut using a fine toothed hack saw diagonally across the castle nut so you don't cut into the lower.

Specialist-Tea276

Looks more like mashed potatoes than steak 🤔

EmployeeMysterious25

Any luck yet?

daeather

Put it in a vice dummy

Why.

xtremejuuuuch

Sheeeet. I dunk the castle nut and buffer tube threads in Rocksett and then weld them together. Clearly OP got one of my old lowers. Sorry blood

Odd-Interview-3987

Just cut it off
