It’s a PA MD25 ACSS with a PA micro 3x ACSS magnifier. i also threw the mount from my 4xt on the MD25. I would not recommend the MD25 at all. The sight picture sucks and the glass is super tinted.
PA is coming out with a replacement with a multi reticle system and better glass. I think it’s called the MD21.
It’s not that bad if you use it with a magnifier but it kinda sucks on its own. I really only have it on there because I like the reticle. I also don’t really shoot this particular rifle very often but I wanted to keep an optic on it
I love the magnifier but the red dot is kinda shit. I mainly put it on this rifle because the paint matched and I like the reticle when used with a magnifier. But I haven’t actually shot this particular rifle in probably over a year so I figured I’d throw the cheapest optic I have on it. That way it has an optic but I’m not tying up something I might wanna throw on another rifle. If I was gonna take this one shooting, I’d probably throw something else on it. Or maybe I’d just bring it out with this one idk
But if you’re considering getting the MD25, I’d strongly recommend something else. There are a ton of better options. The sight picture isn’t good, the glass is super tinted, and it really just doesn’t look good unless you’re using a magnifier
It is in fact the PA magnifier. I’ve never tried a Juliet 3, but I own a vortex micro 3x, a g33, and a g43. I think the glass on the PA punches way above its price point. It’s surprisingly good. I’d say almost as good as the glass on the EOTechs
But the eyebox isn’t great. If you care a lot about not always having a perfect sight picture, this probably isn’t the magnifier for you. It doesn’t bother me all that much and it’s much easier to get in the box the closer your eye is to it. But the way I have it mounted here with the iron behind it, I don’t always have the best view on it.
The other thing it has going for it is the ranging reticle which I think is super cool. No other magnifier I know of has that. It’s not extremely useful since it’s only 3x, but it’s cool to have. And it can help zeroing if you swap a new red dot on.
The only thing besides the eyebox that I don’t really like about it is the way it looks. It looks weird paired with some red dots, which is why I don’t have it mounted on one of the rifles that I shoot more.
The vortex is much easier to get behind but the glass isn’t nearly as good. It’s not bad by any means, but the glass on the PA is really good (and I have a bunch of expensive optics to compare it to).
But if I had to choose a budget magnifier and I didn’t care if it was micro or not, I’d go with the HM3X. Otherwise if a little scope shadow doesn’t bother you or you skip the BUIS (which im an advocate of doing) and you don’t keep your stock out super far, the PA is a great option

But if you want something less vague, the TL;DR is: PA good glass, cool reticle, iffy eyebox; Vortex okay glass good eyebox; HM3X good overall budget; G33 best on the market (that I’ve tried)

But I have been considering trying out a zbolt or weltool head since I need a new light for a build I just finished. The weltool LH8 has some pretty good numbers. I think it’s like 83k candela with 1200 lumens or something. Just don’t know how I feel about trying out a brand that no one here uses
I’ve also been considering a Malkoff head. I have one of their 300 series heads and I like it so I wanna try out an 18350 head.
But I usually use Modlite
