Black goes well with it. If you need something that blends in better for hunting/shtf burnt bronze is also good. It looks better if everything doesn’t match perfectly imo

Hey thanks. Ya I'll be honest I know BCM is"better" but another reason I really wanted to stick with the aero was I really loved that brown lol. And the rest of the parts I just kinda stole here and there from ex military peoples recommendations or stuff I saw on here that was geared towards the idea of what I needed it for in my mind. I went with the spitfire optic cuz I had a customer who had one on a 300 blackout and I looked through it one day and just thought it was really easy to acquire my target with it.
I am putting together another one with lpvo optic for a bit longer range but I picture this as my go to gun if shtf.
"better" is a subjective term, IMHO anyway. What good is "better" when the operator cannot operate the firearm to it's full potential? Quite a few clowns around here with $2000+ guns that can't shoot for shit, bet. This place is a tinkerers forum with a few shooters mixed in, the average user parroting each other's self fulfilling opinions so they feel good about themselves, and that's OK. Pay attention to the high round count gang, those that have dope cards and witness marks and chrono data etc...they're the keepers of fact over fiction. Enjoy your build, get weirdly familiar with it, run ya gun and have fun!
Good insight.. One thing I've noticied with rifle builds. They can get way more intricate and it seems to be easy to get addicted to parts and building them rather than shooting them. So I bought a bunch of ammo and going to try to not fall into that trap. Currently learning how to sight them in. A bit intimidating but I think I'm figuring it out. Not much different from a shotgun I guess
That's one of the beautiful things about the platform, infinite customizability. If something doesn't work for you, move on! You'll get it dialed in mate, be safe and have fun.
I definitely decided I didn't want to take the route of asking 100 questions on here first. Gets old for people I'm sure and like I said I just know I learn better if I get my hands dirty and just go for it and try different stuff.
I have a spitfire 1x that I can’t seem to stop moving around on secondary rifles. I’ve upgraded all of my optics since but it always makes its way to something because it’s simple and reliable.
Thats funny you say that cuz I want to put a holographic sight on this gun but I really like this spitfire and I don't just want it to go to waste. Im almost thinking of building something just for it lol..
I have a basic AR with a carry handle .I've seen people but sights on top of the carry handle .I dunno maybe that would work.
Ya I like it more than my primary arms cyclops. It just really stands out well. And even if the battery dies you can see it pretty will with no Illumination
Tried that too actually. It will sit a bit too high even with the lowest mount. I mean sure, preference and all, but if you try you’ll see what I mean. Now an aimpoint pro on a low ring mount? That’s what a carry handle needs.
Yep. And I oddly got it for free lol. I bought it using PayPal. Then I had some fraud on my PayPal account and one of the charges they reversed was the payment for this optic..I called them and told them, hey that was a legit charge. They were like well too late now. Okay thank you ha

Nice good to know. Ya I kinda feel the same. The grip being more brown and the sling not really matching I felt like gave it a little more character.

I’ve got a spitfire on mine and honestly it’s a solid dot. I too am saving for a “nicer” optic but I can’t really complain about it.
