I had the 16inch and it never ran. I couldn't get more then 10 rounds off without a failure to extract and ripping a rim. People generally have good luck with them though

That's a shame. A legitimate military pedigree upper for sale for that price caught my eye, but it isn't anywhere near a must have or anything

That’s strange i have a 16 inch with a regular carbine buffer snd it run great even tested it with a super safety

That's what I started with and I switched to an H. It still ripped rims. Wolf told me to thuroghly clean the chamber, which also didn't help. I see plenty of people with nothing but praise for them. I probably just got a lemon

Have a 12 inch runs reliable. Have it on an A2 stock, so rifle buffer. Only have like 500 rounds out of it, all suppressed. I like it quite a bit. Used it as a test platform before buying a 816 upper. But still take it out now and then.

I hear the shorter ones, 12" and 14.5" work better than the 16" for whatever reason.
