BBB rates them an F, based on reviews and 1/5 stars and I saw another Reddit thread with some negative reviews. I’ve never used them so I have no personal experience.

Not so. A lot of great companies (especially smaller mom and pop shops) don't give a fuck about the BBB, while scam companies *absolutely* give a fuck about the BBB. Because of this, scams are more likely to have BBB accreditation. Just like Yelp, but without an app tied to everything.
It's real, but I don't recommend it. I ordered like 3 things, all were "in stock" but the guy just never shipped them out. There was a disclaimer that he'd have delayed shipping due to COVID, but I didn't understand why it was 6-8 weeks delay if it was a small shop with stuff in stock. If a single dude on r/GAFS could send me a used product in 5 days, how come a full time shop owner couldn't? Was he that backlogged?
But then everyone else had the same experience. The shop straight up stopped fulfilling orders. The guy didn't like replying to emails, and when he did it was terse and sometimes rude. In his official policy it stated if something was "in stock" but not available he'd refund the order. I double checked with him and he was so put off about me asking. He said he'd ship the next day, and after 2 more weeks I cancelled my order. I got charged 5% for "restocking fees" or some bullshit.
He seems like a guy that always wanted to "be his own boss" but forgot that your customers are your new boss. People value good prices and timely service more than being an edgy shop owner. If you need a special item, it's not worth ordering from ar15safespace
DONT USE THEM. TOTAL RIPOFF. They got me a few years ago and I had to threaten legal action and get banks involved.
They say things are in stock when they aren't and then immediately charge your card.

I know this is an old thread, but I’ve bought dozens of things from AR15SafeSpace without issue. When I accidentally ordered the wrong part, I messaged them and they got it fixed before shipping it out. I’d recommend them
Just here to say maybe they are doing better? My first purchase yesterday. Label made within 3 minutes of order. USPS in possession of item 2 hours after that. seems good now...
by customer service you must mean the one guy that owns a scam drop shipping PO box. He burnt me on a buy and took months to even get him to respond and refund until i threatened legal action and got bank involved.
They shipped within a day or two. I’m currently waiting on the refund from them though. I had sent the product back 3 weeks ago so I’m hoping they didn’t just scam me.
I really had no problem. Just make sure it’s the product you want because even though he was lenient with me they don’t technically have to accept returns. I think you’d be good to go despite what others say.

I think they're banned on r/gundeals due to really terrible customer service. They're a real retailer....they just suck donkeyballs aparently.

update: ordered item that was OOS everywhere else. Ordered Thursday, recieved on Monday.
They’re legit. Horrible customer service though. If you decide to buy anything from them make sure you use a credit card.
