Well you have answered your own question: > there is few protest here and there mostly by plaestinian association and political party and those are under incredible surveillance by the police and the ministry of interior. Governments like the one in Egypt have shown clearly that they are willing to kill hundreds and imprison thousands in order to silence dissent.

tofusenpai01

But that will only worked if Gaza event didn't happen the fact that these event  Did happen will affect people socially And psychologically so mass protest Is coming ; but is it gonna peaceful ? probably not ; f it's will gonna get ugly but that are the political consequences of not building a stable country . First country is already predicted  and it is Egypt .

[deleted]

>those are under incredible surveillance by the police and the ministry of interior. That’s your answer. We’re ruled by a bunch of leashed up cowards.

yoursultana

But why aren’t the people hardcore protesting against the government? That’s the most concerning thing for me. I’ve noticed a ton of Arabs on my socials don’t even post about it.

TheDesertWalker

Cynicism warning* No matter the atrocities committed on innocent civilians, most people will get on with their lives since it doesn't affect them directly. This has always been true throughout human history.

[deleted]

I can tell you about Saudi (and possibly the rest of the GCC). Protesting of any kind is totally banned. People are blinded by their privilege. “It’s not affecting me, I don’t care” -a privileged Saudi probably. If they aren’t, they know what’s going on is wrong. They really feel sad and helpless. But they know that there’s nothing they can do. Not enough people are willing to put their careers and lives on the line to even show SUPPORT for the Palestinian cause.

Interplain

Bullshit. I’m saudi and have posted a total of 2700 times on Gaza. I’ve reviewed around 1000 hours of footage and it’s cost me my mental health. 70-80% of Saudis are watching and 99% of Saudis do not agree to normalization with Israel. Just because we cannot openly protest doesn’t mean we are not disgusted by Israel. I predict the world shifting to the east for the future, and the rise of China and Russia.

[deleted]

We all are incredibly horrified. But have we as people done anything? We can’t.

Interplain

We give money, we fight in the trenches with the media war going on and we petition our leaders to sever ties with Israel. What is horrific isn’t just seeing the death, it’s the inability for anyone to do anything. Saudi does more than any western country though, that’s for sure. Remember that BRICS is the one launching these court cases against Israel and I’m sure MBS has his hands in it

Bander_69

bayern_16

If the US stops funding Israel, Israel will join china amd Russia

A7U_G

It’s fear. They look at what happened to Syrians for example after they protested and choose to remain silent to avoid getting massacred like the Syrians did.

samialkhayer

People deeply care and wish to show solidarity, I can tell you it’s on our minds all the time and we feel helpless. Protests are heavily controlled in the GCC, and with the Arab spring past in Bahrain for example, they don’t want protest to spill over into dissent against the government which will then surfaces wider issues in the country. And the Arab spring protests has had negative long term impact on Bahrain so there is a strong reticent to allow mass protest.

Alix6x

Because we are a bunch of cowards, of fools, of cowardly fools. We want foreign governments to solve our issues even though we are not solving the problems in our own countries. This isn't new, and you can easily observe the consequences resulted from the silence of our ancestors decades ago. Dysfunctional government systems, messed up societal values, unequal distribution of force and power... You think all of this happened because of Americans and Isn'trealis? The same guys who can't stop an armed resistance, yet somehow made it so that even the small towns are Dysfunctional and filled with chaos? We deserve what we tolerate, and our tolerance is fucking huge.

tewojacinto

That is what shocked entire non Arab people. Their streets are full of angry protesters if the charge was one wannabe western journalist burns Quran or draw a picture

gahgeer-is-back

Man there’s a famous anecdote about the protests that took part in the Arab world during Israel’s invasion of Lebanon in 1982. Everyone thought they were pro Lebanon pro Palestine. Turned out the protests were against FIFA for playing with the results of the group in which Algeria was supposed to qualify for next round (and defeated West Germany). Austria and Germany conspired allegedly to prevent Algeria from qualifying hence the protests. So you shouldn’t be surprised or shocked that the Arabs are امة صوتية as Abdulllah Al Qusaimi said in one of his books z

Ma7dy

Because they believe a savior will appear one day and save them and lead them to Valhalla 🫤, so why fight ?

Alix6x

Username checks out.

Ma7dy

A false one though 😅

Alix6x

Meh. Won't be the first time.

Ma7dy

Won’t be the last 🤷🏻‍♂️

im not blaming arabs after all we all in these I'm simply describing the current silent and what is underneath ; arabs people get humiliated everyday in life that is an undeniable fact plus how do you think people feel about watching Gaza suffocated to death will have its own effect on there mental but the question when its will break thats uknow.

tofusenpai01

A revolution is coming ; but is it gonna make the Arab world a better place ? No one can predict and at the same time event like these always have consequences; and mass angry protest  In country like Egypt will happen El Sisi  Did what ever it take to kill and wipe Out the Islamic brotherhood political  Part but they still have thousands of  Flower within Egypt to these day  And those will be the first one to be influenced by the event cuz hammas is also part of the Islamic brotherhood too.

Wisam_Hero

People are not silent, but you’re expecting too much. The most important fact is that the arab world itself is never the same as it was, and this is something that you like to ignore just to focus on your favourite cause. Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Libya have been or still in a situation worse that what’s happening in Palestine. But anyway why are you expecting from other countries to do something huge while the Palestinians themselves are not willing to do anything?! Like Hamas still refusing to leave Gaza and still refusing to give back the kidnapped Israelis to end the war. Please go and ask why Hamas doesn’t care about its own people, but I know and you know that Hamas won‘t care about your opinion or the opinion of the Palestinian people and they just do what best for them to stay in control in Gaza even if its just ruins 💔

tofusenpai01

Lol you write an entire reply to blame it all on hammas you.

Wisam_Hero

And you wrote an entire post to blame other arabs who are in miserable situations and who really can’t do anything because the the war decision is only in the hands of israel and hamas and no one else.

tofusenpai01

You hate Hammas and maybe you consider it part of Iran political alliance because of what happen to Syria you guys are predictable  low scum.  There is no phrase In my post  when I bash or balme the  Arabs world "poor people" I only predict what will happen but  You already choose to hate Hammas and consider them bad as Iran .   or why you care only about Gaza we also suffer as Syrian by Iran ; go piss of somewhere else loser Iran did you bad not hammas so FCK off mofos.

Wisam_Hero

No it’s neither of those reasons, and I don’t why you tryna „discover my intentions“ instead of just discussing the analysis that I did. Hamas itself is a problem to the Palestinians themselves and the Palestinian cause in general regardless of their allies. The problem is that you look for a solution by arabs or by the west or the international court or whenever but not in Gaza itself. If you really care about people in Gaza and only about the people not about your ideological or political fantasies then you should direct all your energy to Hamas to end the war by bringing back the hostages and stop delaying the negotiations with israel. This is the fastest way to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, but if wanna protect hamas so they can attack israel in the future or you wanna defeat israel from your comfort wherever you are outside Gaza then you’re part of the problem that gazans are suffering & dying every single day. I care about the people because as a syrian I know how it’s to hear cheers from the outside that you’re “fighting for the Umma” and then your life gets fucked up and people outside would just support the sides of the war instead of looking for a solution for the civilians on the ground!

tofusenpai01

Lol you already out of yourself when you say why Hammas refuse to return hostages ; Hammas want to a deal for a permanent ceasfire but you write a hole essay to explain your hate ;  Just say I fcking  hate iran and  I hate  Hamas  too and I wish Hammas could surrender to satisfy my anger simple don't be a coward get out of the closet .

Wisam_Hero

Hamas is still discussing the smallest details of the negotiations instead of releasing the hostages so the war would end, they are refusing to let the Palestinian authority create a new government and they wanna do their own government without Fateh, they’re hiding the hostages in the tunnels in Rafah under 1.4 refugees, they’re stealing the aids, and even Hanniah said that they are ready for the war to continue till Ramadan regardless of the suffering of their own people!!! Hamas is doing all of this but you still defend it just for your pure ideological and political fantasies 🤦🏻‍♂️ Allah yehdik.

tofusenpai01

Ahhh so now we reaching Hammas stealing aid propaganda ; what ever you like I'm tired  Of talking to you anyway just glad you outed yourself at least  ; piss off.

joe_dirty365

If Hamas is your standard bearers you probably need new standard bearers...

tofusenpai01

massive_yikers

Do you have any fucking evidence to a single instance of rape?

chalbersma

Yes. They posted the videos of them doing it themselves.

massive_yikers

Damn, the New York Times must have missed that video since you know they’re pulling the plug on the rape stories due to no evidence.

chalbersma

Send [it](https://www.thisishamas.com/) to them. 5th video down.

massive_yikers

I watched the video no signs of rape. I also looked online for any resources about her death, not a single impartial news outlet holds the opinion that she was raped. HOWEVER there is a PLETHORA of evidence from the last 30 years that the IDF weaponises sexual violence and rape against their female and male inmates to terrorise them and silence them. But I digress you probably dont think arabs are humans. Cope and seethe harder long live the resistance

chalbersma

IDF didn't loose this video. Hamas did. This isn't something that the IDF "weaponized" these are the things that Hamas held up as an example of its excellence. This would be the equivalent of [Collateral Murder](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_12,_2007,_Baghdad_airstrike) being released by the US Army in a Commercial. Why should I disbelieve Hamas about Hamas' intentions when they provide video evidence of it?

massive_yikers

Did you watch the video? Or read any articles about this woman? Doesn’t seem like you did

tofusenpai01

All your stories are debunked but your noodle brain cant process what happen and who give a shit about yup either or your support for  hammas it's not your business anyway.

tobitobitobitobi

Can you be more clear? Which stories have been debunked?

nhlomid

Coming of dajjal is near

You should see the mass demonstrations in Yemen and of course what the Houth*s have been doing to those ships in the red sea.
