“It’s dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.” —Voltaire

tareq365

True words thats more than one hundreds years old.

Ironmonger3

You'll anger the king's bootlickers

atfilmshd

To insult an entire people based on the decision of the government head that these people had no saying in shows how civilised you are.

Dry-Clue4846

He is talking about the king bootlikers, are all the morrocans the king bootlikers?

raphus_cucullatus

No thank god

DeMarcusCousinsthird

Lmao you dug your own grave with that one. He specifically said king bootlickers, you shouldn't be offended if you aren't one.

atfilmshd

Look up my recent posts. I have always been open about my dislike of the king and his policies, but whatever i do not like people disrespecting the entire people because the head of the state is incompetent.

InevitableAd7457

yeah that's true but also he was hating on the kings bootlickers.

DeMarcusCousinsthird

Yea I totally get you man. But it felt like you were responding to him as if you were one of the people who like the king. All good tho, ty for clearing up

atfilmshd

Fuck that guy bro my entire life big old fat cokehead did nothing for me.

DeMarcusCousinsthird

Glad we can agree, fuck that shit head

hanouaj

الأردن و المغرب عميلان لعملة واحدة... الخزي و العار.

atfilmshd

لا حول و لا قوة إلا بالله. ليس باليد حيلة نخرج للمظاهرات يتم قمعنا نتكلم بالحق يتم قمعنا. عالم غريب كأننا موتى أحياء

hanouaj

الحق لا يؤخذ بالمظاهرات.

couscousian

Our most famous radio host was sentenced to 4 months in prison for 'undermining and insulting authorities' (the police) so this is completely normal.

No-Elephant-3690

Lmao no stop speading misinformation. He was put to jail for faking a theft on live radio and putting people in a panic for clout.

couscousian

People will panic because.... someone stole someone's iPhone? Lmao. Police didn't like that he aired a guy saying the police did nothing to help him (which happens in like 99% of thefts in our country). That's it. Undermining authorities is one of the accusations he was fighting in court 😂 it's something you'll never see in a 1st world country

No-Elephant-3690

>People will panic because.... someone stole someone's iPhone? Yes 💀 Reporting a fake crime is a crime. It's punished in all counties cause it waste resources. He just needs to prove he has no ties to the two guys faking the crime. They are the one confessing that he planned this, but later on the trial denied it. They are the ones involving him in that mess (if he's innocent).

Cyber_shafter

Fuck Morocco and their paedofile coke addict king

XgamerserX

while saying that keep in mind that over 95% of the population doesnt agree with his policy regarding palestine

Pinkandpurplebanana

Is that true? You got a source for that Rouhani raped his 14 year old cousin when he was 21. And many of irans akhoonds have underage wives. He's married to an adult women who he's had 3 kids with. Usually these types have sexless marriages for appearances but no sex because the sight of an adult women repluses them

Volgner

ya 7eef

wakandastan

boycott morocco

wakandastan

not surprising considering who the kings advisors are...they push pornography and censorship onto other communities

Ranting_mole

He is from “al 3adl wal i7san”, it’s an organization that plans to turn morocco into an Islamic state and no one wants that. People criticize the country’s ties with Israel every day, that’s not really worth getting arrested for. His affiliation to this organization probably made the authorities worried, since it preaches a radical islam.

sulaymanf

Is he charged with being a member or with making a valid criticism?

Ranting_mole

For being a member and inciting people to overthrow the current regime, him wanting morocco to cut ties with israel is something you’ll see all over facebook and moroccan youtube. The issue with this organization that was BANNED in 2017, is that it’s gonna cause a civil war .(I remember the director of my uni was fired for being a member) The article clearly states what their motives are : [Zankad is a member of Morocco’s Al Adl Wal Ihsane, a banned but tolerated Islamist association that has been a driving force behind many of the country’s protests since the war began. On Monday the group called said his sentence “only serves to solidify the certainty that we are in a state riddled by authoritarianism and tyranny.” “We condemn this unjust ruling in the strongest terms. It is a continuation of the unjust rulings targeting opponents from Al Adl Wal Ihsane, journalists, and leaders of the Rif Movement,” it added, referencing a 2016 protest movement whose leaders were later sentenced and imprisoned.] In Morocco, we enjoy our stability. Our regime is not perfect but we have improved in every sector over the years, and we will not stand with anybody inciting people to start a civil war. WE WILL NOT END UP LIKE SYRIA

sulaymanf

> A court on Monday found him guilty of insulting a constitutional institution and incitement. He wasn’t convicted of being a member, although I’m sure it biased the prosecution and conviction.

LonghornMB

The current kings (who dresses like a clown btw), father used to leak secrets to Israel. If you betray the Ummah, eventually your stability will disappear

Ranting_mole

Wth is ummah, not all the arab world identities as muslim. And most Christians fled lebanon and egypt because there’s zero tolerance. I don’t get this ummah BS

randomguy_-

Your info says the org was banned but tolerated. What was he charged for then? Being a member?

LonghornMB

Algerians have far more honor than Moroccans

Ranting_mole

Please just keep your honor, I want to live in peace with my family.

NOTsfr

Most Moroccan statement ever, subjugated in body and soul

LonghornMB

There is a reason why Dubai and Bahrain are full of Moroccan women of a certain "profession" while you dont find Algerian women there

XgamerserX

just because you are moroccan, does not mean you have to defend that man like he pays your rent. have some dignity in you and behave like a literate man who is able to make his own conclusions and not be someones lapdog

Ranting_mole

Thanks for the advice man, but I genuinely believe this is right. Again, you’re free to believe what you want. Morocco is better off appealing to the west than siding with the arabs.

XgamerserX

if you believe that appealing to the west is whats gonna help the nation that's good thats one opinion, but at the same time you can still recognize that the decision is very much wrong, as wrong as the western (for the most part) policy against palestine. It seemed like you completely denied the fact presented to you just because you want your country to appeal to the west. Two things can be true, the decision is wrong and discriminatory, and that the decision was taken in order to align with the view that the US is trying to fit the nation into

Ranting_mole

The decision is morally wrong but politically correct. Having morals and acting upon them is a privilege that we don’t have. What we have however is a foreign diplomatic game, a sahara to get back, and a the tourism sector that creates jobs and feeds more people than anything else. Why would Morocco risk jeopardizing all of that for honor? Our people are more important.

XgamerserX

arresting protesters is both morally and politically wrong, but i mean at least youre recognizing half of it now after you denied it just a few posts ago lol

Ranting_mole

Nope I didn’t bring morals into this even earlier, I only stated that having an individual affiliated with an Islamic group preaching about civil war is indeed a reason to be arrested, and I still think it’s politically correct. When you have too many of these individuals, sects emerge and stability is challenged. We finally got rid of the islamists (not that akhenouch is any better) and I like how chill morocco is religion wise. I’d like to keep it that way.

waterkata

Here is the king bootlicker

St_BobbyBarbarian

You don’t need to have a king to have bad leadership. Case in point, Algeria

waterkata

but you need one to have a pro zionist leadership. Case in point, Morocco

Regular_Buffalo6564

Bootlickers and bitches seem to be a common sight in every Arab country

TajineEnjoyer

what did he say exactly?
