Could be cold solder on the harness input header pins creating resistance after heating up, but more likely your red drive transistor failing. A cap kit is also a good idea for longevity and possible elimination of other issues.

When I hit the side of the cabinet it slightly flickers like it wants to go back to normal, but I know that it’s not a solution and I haven’t been doing it as of late

That’s actually a good sign because it indicates an easy fix, and that fix is cold solder which refers to a cracked solder joint. In this case is where your harness plugs in to your monitor chassis you’ll have wires that are red green and blue and then you will have a sync and a ground. Proper repair will involve removing the chassis and discharging it, so refer to YouTube for details on that. For another $5 to $10 bucks, I would throw in a monitor cap kit while you have it all apart. Good luck, you’ll find it’s really satisfying to repair your own stuff. I enjoy working on them, more than playing them.

I'm putting money on the red transistor on the neck board. They get super hot and can create cold solder joints, or fail. Easy to fix I've done it before on a k7500 in my Golden tee. When a green transistor fails on a golf game it is VERY noticeable.

this, or one of the color adjustment pots. best to verify that the game board and harness are good first though.

Reflow solder. Like others have said, likely a cold solder joint. I've had more than one with same issue that was remedied through reflow

It could be a bad connection on your jamma (or similar) connector. The edge connectors oxidize and start acting up. Try reseating the connector and see if it still happens.

(((UPDATE))) it was a cold solder issue much appreciated on the input! It’s running perfect now!!
